I think they mean have it the way it used to be. The villager only gives you their pic when a certain level of friendship is attained, and not have them give it to you when guessing which villager was the fake (Blanca) on April Fools Day, as it wasn't really earned. It was won.

I didn't like that either.

I have a bunch of features from other Animal Crossing games that I would like in New Horizons:

-Celing Decor- I really like the celing decor in Happy Homes Designer. This decor made the room feel more filled and added more style and sutomization to rooms and houses. This feature would be great in New Horizons as it would allow for more customization.

-Curtains- This allowed more style and custmaztion in a room, and allowed you to stop sunlight from coming into the room

-Window Options- Once again this allowed a room to be more customized, and let room have more or a certain atmopshere feel

- Small funiture movement increamnts- Like in HHD, you could move funiture by half squares. I believe in a New Horizons trailer, we sway funitutre being moved in smaller incremnets than one block. Hopefully they will keep this feature in the realese of the final product.

-Campsite- In New Leaf, I really enjoyed the campsite Public Work Project. It alllowed random villagers to come and camp there at you town and possibly move to your town if you had an opeing and beat them in a game. This would still be a great feature in New Horizons in my opinion.

Public Works Projects- These were some of the best things that made New Leaf a great game. Will funiture being allowed to be placed outside, a lot of PWPs may not be needed, but some such as Bus stop, lamps or fountains.

Police Station and Cafe- JUst fun and cool places that I liked!

I'm not sure if anyone remembers it, but my favorite thing ever in Animal Crossing was the yard sales that they would have in Wild World. I thought it was so exciting to go around to villagers houses and be able to buy whatever you like, then home home and set up your own items to sell to your villagers.

Yep, the Wild World flea market.

I remember making a ton of bells from stringfish.

I had every room filled with them, but it was tricky putting more in the main room after you had sold everything, because a villager would knock before you were done. ^_^

I know I (and most others) want new music, but I really hope that they make the music as good as Wild world and City Folk. I personally didn't care for New Leaf's music that much because Population Growing, Wild World, and City Folk just have huge nostalgic vibes for me. I hope they make some good tracks or make the ones that exist even better.

The old NES games will probably never come back (not that they need to), but I'd like them to include more originals on console items, like those Amiibo Festival minigames that got put into New Leaf via the 3DS and Wii U items. Similarly, I hope they include Tortimer's island with its minigames as well.

Also, a lot of people hated this, but I used to love going on those wild goose hunts for villagers' borrowed items. I liked finding Gruff just to be sent off to track down Mitzi to finally find that book Derwin has been holding onto and get it back to it's original owner. It's like a minigame in and of itself.

I liked the Desert Island Escape mini game, as frustrating as it was, but I'm not sure that I want it to return.

I imagine they'd have the little consoles in Horizons, but whether they have functionality or are purely aesthetic is my question. Though, if the consoles don't show up at all, I'll be pretty bummed out.

I never got to go to the event (except for the vey end) in the GC version because I would have school. I haven't been able to play a GameCube game since October 2012, as my GameCube-compatible Wii gave out around that time, and GameStop stopped selling GameCube stuff, and I graduated in June 2016.

from the GC version, I sincerely want the dump back!! that was so stupidly charming, I loved going there every day to see what was new ^-^ and I really enjoyed the sports balls you could kick around that just would randomly appear :') and morning aerobics- I never woke up early enough to actually participate, lol! Otherwise, I also really liked the flea market, like Halima said ^-^
