The ability to drop multiple items at once

This is small, and I had completely forgotten about this until now, but the original had this holiday right after Thanksgiving like Black Friday called Sale Day, and on that day Tom Nook sold a bunch of grab bags that contained random items. This was probably silly of me, but back when I first played AC I would buy a bunch of them and put them under the Festive Tree in my house and keep them there until I played on Christmas and then I'd open them, for a little extra Christmas surprise 'gifts'.

I wouldn't mind having those back. Also golden spots where you dig up bells, scavenger hunts from villagers, etc. All of those fun little things that were in the GCN version that have never returned for some reason.

Don't know if anyone said this, but I hope they'll be a coffee shop/hut run by Brewster again and that we have the ability to work there like in New Leaf! It was so fun to make coffee for your villagers as well as random ones!

I would really love all the past holidays to make a comeback. It just ads more to do in the game and more reason to visit my town. I would also like a comeback of the dump, and being able to make constellations.

I thought about this the other day on the way home, but I really loved the northern lights that would appear during the winter at night. It's very high on my bucket list to see the aurora in real life, and seeing it on Animal Crossing always made me really happy. I bet they could make it look beautiful on the Switch.

I don't see a reason it won't return, but it was just something I had forgotten that I really, REALLY, want to return.

The Morning Aerobics and the flea market. I miss these two so much, especially the first one was so
much fun. And the observatory needs to come back too, I was and am still disappointed that they
removed it in New Leaf.

I never played GC but I used to watch the cute little morning aerobics on YouTube! It would be awesome if you could attach something to your joycon and actually exercise for real with your villagers so you actually keep fit and participate and if it tracks your progress, you could unlock achievements etc... Would be pretty fun
I also miss the observatory from WW, there was something so magical about constellations!
If they bring it back, they could teach us what constellations exist in the world and where to find them - depending on where you're located!

Also, villager pictures working like they did in Wild World rather than being more random(?) or restricted to a special day. Loved collecting them in WW but barely bothered to get any in NL...

Police station/lost and found being either available from the start or eventually unlocked through normal gameplay - I hated how it was locked behind a randomly requested PWP in NL

Bottle mail would be really fun, and fits the setting pretty well too!

Would love to see those weekly fun notice board messages too, not just notices about special items, events ect.

Also pocket camp has so many awesome items! I don't play the game but oh boy I want the furniture! Also all the holidays they cut. A full calendar would be awesome. Lot's of things to do and celerbrate ^^

Yeah, it's been so long since AC:GCN that a lot of those little things have been forgotten over the years, but I really did enjoy them back in the day. So much was lost in the transition to Wild World, more than I even initially realized when it was released (where the biggest thing was the removal of real holidays), and a lot of those things made up the charm of the original.

I've heard people say that the reason these features were removed and never came back was that they were "too Japanese", but I never was bothered by that at all.

1. The ball and going to get it for a villager, then watching them happily kick it around
2. Sending a message in a bottle
3. I really miss the interaction options from GC - being able to ask if they need a favor, or just chit chat
4. The gyroid in front of the house
5. IDK if we're counting NL as "past" but I hope we keep the RV camp and the island tours in some way

I'd really like the message in a bottle to return. On WW I never had the WiFi connection, so I only got the default ones from the game. This time I'd also be able to read the funny/crazy stuff other people write. Another thing would be the shopping card from CF, so you don't need money on you to purchase expensive stuff. It would work at Gracies and hopefully this time also at some point in the Nooks store and maybe the other ones with expensive purchasable items. The most important feature to come back though is certainly the recycling bin/dump. Nothing better than finding a throne in there a villager dumped after you gave him a fish the day before.

I never played the GC game, but saw some nice elements that were removed with WW, like the morning aerobics and the balls lying around that would be nice to get back.

- screw it, something similar to the raffle but involving less annoying items

NO:
- flea market (IT BECAME RE-TAIL/WHENEVER VILLAGERS TRIED TO GET YOU TO PICK STUFF AND WAS SINCERELY ANNOYING AS A HOLIDAY, STOP PUSHING IT)
- NES games (unless they're in some form of library so you don't have to have millions of NESes in your house)

I want some less nicer villagers. :/ Okay, that is too repeated so... I want sports festivals. Oh, that is also repeated. I want that raffle thing. However, I kinda want to have some other furniture that you can actually buy, so that I have access to furniture I can easily buy.

I agree, I want personalities to be more diverse. Some original AC villagers bordered on bullying. Not sure if I want to feel bad about myself, but I'd like for some excitement and spontaneity in our interaction.
