Are there any movies you think are under appreciated?

I'm not a huge movie buff, but I wish that movies that have a trans-theme, that star transgender actors/actresses and portrayed more accurate trans experiences, like "Tangerine" or "Boy Meets Girl", would get some notability over Oscar-bait, sensationalized trash like "3 Generations" or "The Danish Girl".

Yeah I heard they pretty much changed like everything from their actual lives, like wtf. Why would people even believe the movie, it's pretty obvious they just made it to please like everyone and not caring one bit.

The Phantom of the Opera movie is really good, imo. Obviously, even if you used the same actors, musicals tend to be better on stage, but people really rag on Gerard Butler's singing too much. It's a lot more guttural than any other Phantom, I'd rank it quite close to Ben Forster (Not really underrated, but he deserves more)

Only real complaint is they do the thing where a character is supposed to have a ****ed-up face, but a patch of their skin is a slightly different shade and that's it.
