I was planning on buying a switch for a long time now but just never got the motivation to actually save up money and do it, but now that I know AC is coming to the swtich I just need to have it. Already made plans with my so to ditch this year vacation and just buy a switch already. How bout you guys? Already got one, planning to get one?

I'm getting one tomorrow ahead of Black Friday as the place I'm getting it from has an early deal thing going on. I want one to get familiar with it beforehand but I know that the vast majority of my time with it will be for AC, and knowing that it is coming out is what solidified my decision to get one.

I got my switch over a year ago that was bundled with Mario Odyssey. Can't wait for AC Switch to come out, especially smash bros. that is just around the corner!

I already got a Switch, though this game will probably be the one that makes me buy an online membership. I definitely plan to be part of this game's online community, and I hope it doesn't suffer too much from those online fees.

Yeah, unless I really crave some online gaming I think I'll wait til AC to start an online membership. Or I might use the week's trial a while before AC comes out just to give me something to do for a week.

I want to get one after the AC release, I feel like once I see YouTube gameplay videos of the new game I'll want it even more and I'll feel more inclined to get it. If the new game doesn't look worth it to me then I wont bother getting a Switch because AC is the only game I'd play on it (you think I'm kidding but I'm not...)

If they bring out a decent Animal Crossing themed Switch I'd get it.
If they don't I might get a Pikachu/Eevee Switch. That looks alright.

My brother was kind enough to get me one last year for Christmas. He didn't really need to get me one, but since they announced the new AC Switch, I'm really glad he did. Though right now it's kinda sitting there on my table unused until then. xD

Bought one after seeing more game play for Mario Odyssey and news about a pokemon game at E3.
So far I don't need to pay for online. I wished they would give us more information for AC Switch online game play.
Need to know how online trading will work and if I need to buy a family pass so I can have 8 towns.
I'm not happy that they want a credit card for the year family pass. I'd rather buy an online year pass from a gaming store or use an Eshop card to purchase it.

If you live in the US you could probably use a service like privacy.com to avoid giving nintendo your credit card information.
this is really useful!! :0, sadly it's kind of hard to get services like that to work where I'm from (Chile) and it gets annoying trying to make lower quality services work properly.

I'm planning on buying one later this month, as a early christmas gift to myself ✿ Would love to get it now, but I can't trust myself to not spend all my time playing before my holiday, haha. Planning on buying BOTW, I played it on my friend's switch and I'm mad for not getting it sooner- It's SO GOOD! So I'm buying it 50% because of BOTW and 50% because of Animal Crossing.
