I like it so far, it's seems to offer lots of new features and such, looking forward for it for sure.

Well, its sorta mixed on that. The reason is because we have no sign of being the Mayor. Which means no Isabelle. And other stuff that hasn't been shown off yet.

But as time goes on, new stuff will be revealed and i'll be happy with it.

There are still so many more details we have yet to find out about the new title but overall I am so excited! It looks so much more immersive and honestly the fact you can decorate outside is a huge draw for me. I feel satisfied at the teaser they gave us as just that, a teaser. At least I know when it will be coming out and some basic idea/look of it. Definitely looking forward to new details on the future.

I hate to admit it, but I'm not sure how to feel. A lot has changed and never before has a base game been this different. I guess I'll just let it grow on me. I will buy it for sure next year, no doubts about that. But it's definitely not love at first sight.

I had mixed feelings for a bit, I think I can get used to the crafting stuff. Seeing other people hyped is giving me even more hype! HYYYYPE!!

I'm trying to be happy with it. When I first saw it I was really disappointed and not excited at all. But after watching the Treehouse and learning more, it talked me down a little bit and I'm starting to feel better about it. I just cannot get around the dang crafting system. Everything else I like for the most part.

These things worry me the most, though none of them I really have any reason to be worried about
-Holidays. Will they still happen on a deserted island? I figure it should be no different than if you were in town, as the character's just kind of showed up on their holiday on their own without anyone causing them to. Hopefully it'll be the same sort of thing, where we wake up on October 1st and Jack is walking around, or on Bunny Day and Zipper is there already with eggs hidden.
-The catalog. The items that we can craft seemed pretty limited and most of the items I saw outside were very summery, outdoorsy which makes sense, I admit. When the trailer went inside Fuchsia's house I felt better because there was a bigger variety of items, but I love to collect items and I want the full catalog from New Leaf back, plus more.
-Pocket Camp. Still no word on if this is compatible with New Horizon's and if I need to waste any more time trying to get exclusive items on PC.

Yeah the crafting is a let down I feel. Definitely one of the reasons I play Animal Crossing is it's not too complicated. I just hope crafting isn't that mandatory and can get items another way.

I really love how this Animal Crossing is looking so far. The idea from scratch really appeals to me and they made it real easy to be creative and am excited for all the possibilities of new towns. It kinda makes me sad that it seems like so many people are disappointed by it already. They stressed that they still need more time. Sure there are big changes around the classic AC formula but I think that its good. The crafting process doesn't seem that bad as people are making it out to be.

I personally don’t think I’m a huge fan of the crafting aspect either, but I’m not turned off by it. I think the game looks amazing overall.

visually it's just a little bit disappointing - I was kind of hoping for something very different from new leaf (in the same way that nl differed from ww/cf) but I guess that's more my fault for getting my expectations too high. it's still very cute though! I'm sure it'll grow on me

other than that, I think the whole crafting thing is super cool and the breath of fresh air I needed for this series (totally understand why some people dont like it though) overall I'm really excited!!

It?s not even out yet...? But yeah I?m happy. It being delayed just means they?re going to make the game even better!

I LOVE IT. The trailer still gives me classical AC vibes while being new and exciting. Living on a deserted island sounds so fun. I couldn't care less about Isabelle or being the mayor. In fact I was hoping that wouldn't be a part of it. It looks like a completely new AC game, not an extension of New Leaf, and that's more than I hoped for honestly.

I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first, but after watching the trailer multiple times as well as what we got to see during the Treehouse Live, I'm feeling much better about it.

Also to note, that there may be a few things that will be debunked. (Like that PWP thread I made a while back in this board)

But above what I just said, it's only theory and speculation.

They showed during the Treehouse Live that you can either make or buy the tools. Not sure about some of the other stuff though.

It's growing on me.
I'm loving the overall designs and small details.

I also think it's amazing that you can set which hemisphere you are on for the seasons. I'm ready to see more about it!!

There are a few things I don't like about it.. but overall I like it a lot. And the things I don't like might be things I get used to and end up loving. I just hope they fix the colours. It looks washed out.
