Depends on the sport really. Basketball went from wearing shorts to pants, and using hookshots to 3-point shots, so that's no longer an interesting sport to watch. Boxing got boring too. Baseball is fun to watch, so it tennis. I guess it all depends on the sport.

i enjoy watching football sometimes

nothing's better than watching sweaty, muscly guys tackle each other for a ball :^)

lol but its still fun to watch them tackle eachother like savages

No, sports are tedious as hell and for the most part just serve as a distraction from the more meaningful things in life (God, I hope overzealous sports fans don't stone me to death with their balls for saying that). However, physically playing sports is much more fun than watching a bunch of grown men get paid to play with a little ball/puck/whatever.

Yep, I love watching sports of any kind. I’ve also done martial arts for nearly 14 years now, so I play a sport as well. It’s something I enjoy very much.

Nope.

I think watching sports is incredibly boring, and I don't understand the appeal. My dad and my brother are extremely passionate about watching sports, especially football.

Yep! I enjoy watching football, college bball and kinda sorta baseball. I also like track and field and the olympics.

I'm a major sports fan, and I've noticed time and again here that I'm in a minority. When I play sports games, it's 90-95% of men, too. This forum, meanwhile, is 70% female.

I wonder why most women just don't like sports. As someone who does, and whose mother did, it's always puzzled me.

Then again, my husband -- a male -- doesn't like them himself.

I don't know what factors into these exceptions and stats...

nope i have never really found sports interesting at all. i do watch the olympics sometimes, but get bored of it quickly.

Well, I enjoy watching the Olympics (both summer and winter), hockey (only rooting for my team), FIFA World Cup, and FIFA Women's World Cup. I watch the Super Bowl sometimes.

I watch practically no sports as most of them don't interest me but I do watch F1 and have done since I was young, not really sure why I enjoy just watching fast cars driving around when I find nearly all the other sports boring but I do so I stick with it. Sometimes I tune into the olympics (quite often watch the gymnastics from it) and I see some of the football World Cup when England is playing (I'm never interested in it as I'm never expecting a win and I don't enjoy the sport but there just seems to be no avoiding it). My dad often watches cricket and my mum watches the tennis but I just can't get into them, especially when the matches start going on for hours on end.

I'm not a huge sports fan but sometimes I watch the NFL,NHL,Formula 1,Australian Rules Football and boxing.I was into sports a lot more when I was younger and had season tickets for the Arizona Cardinals and Coyotes.Hockey is my favorite sport to watch in person especially if you can get seats near the glass.

I'm not a huge fans of most sports. I only watch a small handful of events during the Olympics. Outside of that, I only want sports climbing competition.

the only time i watch sports is with my dad because he enjoys it and i just like spending time with him

Yes, I watch sports. Mostly I just watch American football and follow my favorite team, but I'll occasionally watch other sports. I used to watch a lot of figure skating, too, but now I don't really follow it.

I think sports are fun to watch because I use to play a lot of them back in school, but I never had the skill or ability to do much more than participate. My favorite sports to play were baseball/softball, volleyball, and football.
