Guest, can you feel the love in the air? Valentine's Week at The Bell Tree has begun with a new mini-event featuring four activities to enjoy -- new and returning collectibles are up for grabs! Dive in to the love here.
I'm playing HHP more. I've currently stopped working on my Island because I want to unlock the option to redesign villager house exteriors first before attempting to re-do parts of my island.
Main game! Trying to pace myself with HHP so I don't get burnt out too quick. I focused so hard on HHD when it came out that I lost steam rly quickly. Plus I still have a lot to do in my town!
I've been playing both, mostly to get Poki to buy items and then the main game to get all of the crop starters, and new DIYs. I was TTing a little bit to cycle between the weeks so I could get new stock but now I have all of the crop starts. I should be playing the DLC more to unlock everything in its entirety but I'm at the point where I can use any DIYs that I've previously crafted and did not craft everything so I might actually spend some time doing that lol.
I would say it's about even. On the main game, I have 3 characters to do my dailies with and that takes up quite a bit of time! Then I go island hopping for DIYs on turnip.exchange with my main character for as many recipes as I can get. Then at night time, I spend hours designing homes on HHP. Honestly I love that I have so much to do I love both aspects to the game equally!
I’d say it’s 50-50. I do all my dailies in my main island, go on Kapp’n’s island, talk to my villagers, stretch, have coffee, decorate a villager’s home, design parts of my island, catch fish/bugs. Then, I’ll go to HHP to decorate 1-2 homes or more if I feel like it! I definitely revisit my previous homes to upload them into my HHP page, lol.
The main game. I’ll eventually have to play HPP to unlock customizing villager homes, but it’s not my favorite. I didn’t really like HHD and I don’t like HHP.
I have it balanced.
I do my daily chores on my main island just got three stars so hope to add Brewster and Kapp'in to the mix soon.
Then I head to HHP and do a house or two depending on the items I sell. I'm taking ir slow so only do enough to earn the poki for the items I want or one house minimum and to pick up my DIY then head back to KY island where I continue to work on things that need to be done
Definitely the main game. I like HHP, but after doing 2 houses, I need a break. I also don't want to rush things, so I'm only doing 1-2 a day (mostly 1).
I used to play more HHP more but then toned it down a bit since I was taking waaay too long to design one house. But now I do think I spend about the same time on HHP and my island since I am also trying to do some decorating as well lol
I just got my switch and ACNH so i've been playing that non stop trying to collect everything and complete parts of the island so I can decorate properly and terraform. But, I've been looking at HHP and I think it looks like a lot of innocent fun! So I think i'll get it for christmas, maybe add it to the list of presents because family ask all the time and i'm hard to buy for because I work and just buy everything myself ha!
I've been so busy with rl stuff so i have just been focusing on the main game. I have been going to hhp island everyday to get diys but not really working on houses. Now I've started back on hhp. I'm up to house 21 or 22 now.
it's a fairly even split between the two currently, leaning slightly more towards playing the main game at the moment but it dips in and out. there was a period of time where i would just do my dailies and then head straight over to design some houses, but at the moment i've been finding more of a groove with terraforming and decorating my island so i'm spending a ton of time on my own island, and then as it reaches nighttime and i lose motivation a little, i wind down from the day with designing a house or two. i've definitely been taking this DLC at a slower pace because as much as i want to unlock everything, i don't want to do it all now and then not see the point in continuing, and equally i only have so much creative energy in one day!
when i first bought the dlc ,, i found myself constantly playing it and only playing the actual game to do my dailies. however ,, now that ive unlocked most of the features ,, im not seeing any improvement with my decorating skills and i mostly go to the hhp office to check their daily selection of items to purchase because ive heard rumors that the froggy chair has been in stock there before.
if anyone has tips to help me decorate better ,, i would love to hear them <33
I catch myself playing more of the main game after I finished the first 30 homes. I found it a little tiring but the poki is super useful and sometimes the customization avaliable in HHP really helps!
Depends on my mood. I was in a hardcore island decorating phase before HHP released, which has mostly been put on hold now that I'm so busy. Now, if I'm in the mood to relax/decorate, I prefer the easier, compartmentalized gameplay of HHP.
Other days, I don't have enough time for that, either. Then I just run around, give gifts to my villagers, throw Toy Day decorations around, and maybe grab a cuppa before logging off again.
I'm playing the main game much more ... To be honest, and don't hate me for it [!!], but I blasted through every villager in HHP just to unlock everything because I didn't want to make the same mistakes I made in HHD ... I plan to go back and remodel everyone's homes properly, and have remodeled Eloise's and half of Chelsea's [I ran out of ideas and inspiration half way through, I have to have another think about her home] ... But for me, HHP is something I can go back to and really spend 110% time and effort on a home once I run out of things to do in the main game ...
