Are you playing HHP or the main-line game more?

I'm playing the main game much more ... To be honest, and don't hate me for it [!!], but I blasted through every villager in HHP just to unlock everything because I didn't want to make the same mistakes I made in HHD ... I plan to go back and remodel everyone's homes properly, and have remodeled Eloise's and half of Chelsea's [I ran out of ideas and inspiration half way through, I have to have another think about her home] ... But for me, HHP is something I can go back to and really spend 110% time and effort on a home once I run out of things to do in the main game ...
Yeah I can relate, because I've made over 100 homes because honestly these villagers tend to ask for like similar themes I've already done before. When that happens I just pair them up as roommates and earn some extra Poki. Its kinda hard to find any original themes from the villagers. I know there is the "I've got ideas" option but sometimes I myself have a hard time thinking of what theme to give them and sometimes I Just usually don't bother with the villager because I don't want to recreate the same theme that another villager asked for.

I play hhp more when I have the time to and because im semi burnt out on the main game and i only check if theres anything on sale on the stores

I play the main game more. It basically feels like the DLC just added a few extra daily chores to the game - buying any items I don't already have in my Nook Shopping catalog, and doing a house or two so I have poki for that. And remembering to check the restaurant for a new recipe, but I usually forget or am too lazy, lol.

I go in stages depending on how much time I have to play. When the update first came out I was playing HHP more then the main game. Right now playing the main game more and just going to HHP for the DIY’s. My main island is a huge work in progress with trying to figure out how I want my island layout and where to place all the houses.

Depends what I'm in the mood for, but I play both. Designing homes is a bigger time investment and lately I haven't had a ton of time, so I've been decorating my island more. It's nice to have choices.

When the DLC first came I played that for hours, only going on my main island occasionally to tear down certain builds bit by bit to prepare. Now that I've made 50 or so houses (I think only 30 are actually fully designed though) I'm putting more time on my main island and only going on the DLC to order items. Once I finish what I wanted to do on my main island I'll go back to playing HHP again! There's a lot of houses I want to redo and I still need to design extra rooms for my facilities.

I've been spending over half my time playing on HHP, not surprising though considering I really loved playing HHD too. designing houses has always been one of my favorite things to do in all of the AC games so HHP has been great!

No, I like the main game better than HHP. If I could get better at yard design in HHP, I'd probably like it more since I prefer outdoor decoration to interior design.

When v2.0 and the DLC first came out, I was playing the main game more. But then that switched to HHP as I begun grinding out vacation homes and finished up some main game things I was working on. Now it's currently switched back to me playing the main game more and only going to HHP for the moss/vines/DIYs at the moment as I give myself a break from it before I go back and slowly renovate vacation homes.

I don’t like grinding games, so I don’t, and I’m very laid back in HHP. I try to design a home everyday, some days there aren’t any good villagers so I just don’t design anything at all. But the main game I log on everyday, try to do something everyday, very chill though. I like it that way!

I think it might be about equal, but maybe a little more on the maingame?

I'll open up the game to play HHD but I try to take care of dailies etc. first and then I'll design just 1 home per day I play. I enjoy HHD but there's still decorating to do on my island and I get frustrated if I do too much HHD decorating at once due to my more skills.

I play my main island mostly.

I redecorated a villager house on my island today though and enjoyed that. I imagine by the time I do all the houses on my island, I will be completely over decorating houses.

ive totally ditched my island and my villagers for HHP. have been very hardcore at it too. should probably go back to my island soon.

At the moment I'm playing the main game but once I've finished up my neighbourhood villager, I'll get back into HHP so I can unlocked the rest of the features such as being able to decorate villager homes on my island.

I've played mainly HHP right after I bought it but now I rarely even visit the island. Every house takes me at least 1 hour, sometimes much longer, and now somehow I can't find that much time to invest on one sitting with the game. Even worse when there's sudden story elements and I need to sit through it when I just want to go to sleep, ugh. At the moment I've completed 20 houses.

i've been playing the mainline game a lot more but i did just restart my island so that's most of it XD

i'm playing the main game more, but i really love the hhp content. i just don't want to rush through it all, if that makes sense.

plus i recently restarted, so i only unlocked the hhp content like... two days ago, lol.
