have you ever been proud of yourself? what are you proud of? what are some things you like about yourself? it can be your personality or appearance; anything, really.

i thought having a thread about self love may be... nice and healthy? yeah, i'll stick with that.

i'm proud of how loving i can be, and how much i have changed over the years. i used to really dislike myself, but i've gotten better about it, and it did take awhile.

i like my taste in music, and video games, i also like how caring i can be towards animals that aren't even mine (we have cats around here and i'm either feeding them or loving on them). hmm, i like my blog, and i like how willing i am to help someone out if they truly need it, i like how passionate i can get when discussing something i feel strongly about. oh i like really like my appearance, even though i don't have the best skin in the world, i am learning how to accept it more and more every day, and i really like my butt.

so how about you?

I'm proud that I can appreciate what I have, and think about those who have less than me 24/7
like if something bad happens to me, I just think that someone else has a worse life out there.
I like my way of thinking.

I also like my music taste.

I'm proud of my skills and stuff.

Like seriously, I have the patience to sit down and draw up something stupid for about 3-5 hours.

Well, I recently proclaimed myself as an artist, and that's a big thing for me because I've always assumed you needed somebody to do that for you, and it was really holding me back. I'm learning as much as I can about 3D modelling and animation and I'm still looking for people to help out with developing my website, so, I really like that side of myself.

I'm proud that I actually have the ability to sit down and teach myself new things to a good standard, like I did with music and drawing. Most people struggle to learn things themselves from a lack of understanding and/or patience, or at least learn it 'wrong' and pick up 'bad habits' from doing so.

Also how creative I can be. Or that I'm arguably good looking.

Also that I can pee really far from the toilet whilst still getting it in the bowl. I can get out of the bathroom and still nail the aim and force, then I usually have to start getting back to the toilet before my supplies run out and it ends up on the floor.
If you're a guy and you've never been home alone and tried this, you're missing out.

I'm proud of my two degrees and the academic potential I have in general. I'm also proud of my fitness level.

I am proud of myself for being a really trustworthy person and for always trying to help people, even when I don't know them or barely know them.

I'm proud of myself for not turning out to be a stereotype like everyone else. Also my drawing skill.

Oh.. hm.. generally I don't like to dwell on stuff I'm good at, it makes me feel self-conscious

I like that I am good at improving myself

i'm proud of my intelligence, my musical virtuosity and my ability 2 dye my hair without any help

I'm proud of myself for speaking up in intimate class settings. I struggle not trusting my own opinions or interpretations of things and therefore I never really participate in classrooms, despite my love of discussions. I've started the quarter thus far keeping up with the reading the best I could and actually raising my hand and contributing to in class discussions and I haven't been completely shut down for my ideas so I'm really proud of myself for putting myself out there and really going for it. With this great feeling from it too I hope to continue with this sense of responsibility to my work for the rest of the quarter.

well, im not proud of too many things but i guess im proud that im friendly to everyone,
even though i hate a lot of people lol
im also proud that i taught myself to play both guitar and ukulele w/no help, and that i guess im pretty articulate
