I haven’t played the game since just before Bunny Day of this year. At first I felt guilty for neglecting my villagers and island but that has passed.

I completed my museum, learned all DIY recipes, cataloged everything, and got all fish and bug models. I also finished decorating my island and house.

I don’t know what else to do. 😩

I haven't played since early June, I just logged on one day I found my island boring and logged off again. I have a feeling I'll pick the game up again at some point (maybe when its Autumn and Halloween time) but for now I'm actually enjoying the break from ACNH.

I haven’t. After a while, these games just seem to lose their feel. Sometimes people just need breaks or to drop the game completely. It’s nothing to feel ashamed about.

The villagers were the one aspect of my island that kept me coming back. I always felt bad for neglecting them.

I kind of stopped for a while but I definitely still play! I do play City Folk and New Leaf more but I love New Horizons still! I stopped hating on it and realized that after playing EVERY AC game atleast once a week that each one is special in its own way. New Horizons is so pretty and I will be honest..... after not playing for a while the dialogue is getting better to me! I love how some convos let you respond and they go on for a while! I love new horizons and am playing it alot recently!!!! :D

Yes, but just to do some dailies, talk to the villagers and then stop. I play more when an idea comes to my mind, (which don't happen regularly… xD).

I play every day ... I've always played AC games in real time and never - shall we say - "cut corners" or "take shortcuts" !! There's still a lot that I want to do and the feeling of accomplishment is better to me than simply 'getting' the items ...

I haven’t played since February of this year. I got distracted with the release of Pokemon Legends and Rune Factory 5.

Right now, I’m taking a break from the post-game grind in RF5, so I decided to return to Animal Crossing for a bit. At least enough to finish decorating three residents’ houses.

i play almost everyday, but sometimes im not able to. when new horizons came out i abandoned new leaf but now i play both. i used to time travel a lot in both games but now i don’t because after im done doing stuff in nh, i can do stuff in new leaf so im not bored.

i think im going to try to, i restarted my island and im slowly building it back up, we'll see how it goes!

I was playing a couple days ago, but decided I still need some more time taking a break. I’m still in the process of figuring out how I want to do my island. I’m not sure if I want to do a theme or not, as I never attempted one before. All I know is I would like to at least use my favorite things for my island.

I don’t play daily, but I try to still play every week. Depends on what’s happening in my everyday life—sometimes it’s a couple weeks between sessions, other times only a day or two.

I took a little break, but last month I realized that I still hadn't 'finished' my island, so I've been playing daily again. I've mostly finished it now, just need to dig up the flowers in one section and decorate the area properly. After that, I might return to Arceus again and go back to shiny hunting. I'll still log in every now and then though, mainly to decorate homes on HHP.

I have always put down an AC game and come back. I recently got in the mood to redo my island, so I’ve been spending even more time playing as of late.

i’m not. i haven’t played regularly since shortly after the 2.0 update dropped last year, and that only lasted for about a week or two. it’s mostly because i’ve been dealing with a lot personally this past year and just haven’t had the energy to play, but i’m overall just feeling pretty burnt out. my switch lite also had extremely bad joy-con/joystick drift until a couple months ago, so that definitely deterred me from playing as well.

i’m slowly trying to ease back into playing again, but i’m still in march in-game, and i don’t really see myself getting caught up to present time anytime soon. 😅 i’m not trying to force myself to play, though, since that’ll just lead to more burnout. i know i’ll come back to my island eventually, though; i love animal crossing and my island too much to stay away from them forever haha.

i’m sure you’ve already done this, but if you haven’t, maybe you could work on completing all the nook mile achievements? or crafting one of every diy/recipe? not the most exciting activities lol, but the former helps to motivate me a bit at least whenever i don’t really feel like playing.

don’t feel pressured to play if you don’t want to, though. your island and villagers will be waiting for you with open arms when/if you decide to play again. ♥️

I've been playing daily for about a month now. I usually do some tasks around the island in the morning, and then at night I catch bugs. Once in a while when I feel inspired I will change up my island, like doing some terraforming, moving the villagers homes, etc. My goal is to get more furniture and DIYs so that's why I'm trying to play daily even when I don't feel like playing. But before all that I used to take loooong breaks 😭

I still play regularly and I haven't skipped a single day since the game's launch. Although my daily play time usually just lasts for 10-15 minutes. I always feel like my day's incomplete when I don't play.

I just do my daily rounds of checking the mail, talking to any villagers I've come across with, giving presents to my new villagers so that I can get their photos, and checking the Nook's Cranny stock for stuff.

I barely do stuff around the game anymore. I've barely touched HHP and I haven't redecorated my house or my island in a while. I don't participate in the Fishing Tourney or the Bug Off. I don't visit Brewster or go on Kapp'n boat tours either. Though I wouldn't think this is burnout though because even if I play on for short bursts, I still find it enjoyable.

yes as i recently reset my island to help give myself a better map & name, i'm also doing a different aesthetic than what i normally do so it's given me something to do in-game for now. i just now unlocked my campsite so i'm more or less just time traveling nonstop so i can get all of my amiibo villagers moved in... and since the island is starting fresh i need to put in a lot of work to get the museum filled up too, i'm going to be playing for a lot longer still lol.

animal crossing games in general just feel like 'home' to me so even when i'm burnt out i like to pop in every now and again.

I only got New Horizons in February and it was my first Animal Crossing game. Ever since then I have played it everyday, whether it's been a quick half an hour just to do my daily tasks or a few hours. There is never a day goes past without me saying hello and giving a present to my number 1 villager, Buck. 😀

I still play regularly I often play at night after work or on my days off. I decided to delete and redo the whole back area of my island and slowly bit by bit I am adding and redesigning it. I would love to have others come visit it but only once I am fully happy with the result.

Not rly unfortunately. I have those usual spikes where I end up playing A BUNCH, but most of the time I just login to either check on my villagers or for TBT events. I wish I'd go on more to develop my island tho, but it is what it is.
