ok so audie was asking tex what kind of song she would be if she was one, and tex said she would be a break up song. audie then says she wouldn’t listen to a sad song even if she was “dum-(ped)”. oh wait, sorry, i meant a dUMPLING. after that i was asked the same question. i said she would be a pop song, which she responds “i am a pop diva after all!” so then tex starts thinking out loud and then audie makes the pun. my question is..

does this dialouge only appear when a peppy talks to tex specifically?

i dont know if im allowed to use videos but i do think this is worth its own thread, and i dont want this to seem like an elaborate self promo but heres the conversation since it wont let me upload for some reason

I'm pretty sure any name would be replaced there, Tex-splain is just particularly humorous. What I get really tired of is when I get an earful of Raymond-splaining.

Yes and no.
The game puts the name in based on who is having the conversation.

It would need to be tex for texsplain but replace tex with any other villager of the same personality and the conversation would have been 100% the same only with a different name in the place of tex

That is the peppy response. Normals have their own, which I think is hilarious (don't want to put it here, in case you haven't seen it yet). I can't remember the uchi response; Cherry doesn't talk to Lionel too often.
