obtained means that you can mark the dreamies you have living in your town and those yet to move in - for example, if Daisy is a villager you want in your town (= a dreamie) and she lives in your town, I can put a little pixel next to her to signify that she's living in your town and you're not looking for her. If she hasn't moved in yet, then there'd be no pixel
the "sprite" is the word for pixel and that can be anything (a flower, a fruit, a star etc, as long as it's a small pixel)
here's an example: (x) villagers that have a rose next to them have been obtained!
as for the background I think I have it saved, so no worries
