Maybe Arcanine as a wolf-style villager? I could see him as either jock or cranky personality and he'd probably wear some kind of fire-related shirt.

Omg I felt the exact same way. I still complain about the keys whenever someone asks me why I never picked up X/Y. They're freaking keys how is this original.
