It's not really a bad thing. If anything, you have an even better life because you're focused more on reality than fantasy, which is ultimately what you're gonna gravitate to as you get older.

I think your life to become richer if you open your mind to these ideas. I personally see no value in ones life if they live their lives not believing in anything more than what's on Earth's surface. I have to disagree. You say the value in one's life is lost if they don't believe in things out of this world, but I feel like we should value this world more. We should value what we have, and think less of what else there could be. Be thankful for the small things. Aliens or no aliens, we have our flowers, and our trees. We have all the animals and the bugs and the insects. The earth's surface is far more magnificent than any mythical creatures I'll ever meet.
