I'll try to think of some questions!
I actually got into it because of a sandbox game called Garry's Mod. Then, about four years later, I switched to the Source Filmmaker, and finally Blender. I guess I just had a real fascination with the idea of creating your own world, your own characters, and your own story. The reason I decided to switch to professional software was simply because I wanted to do more, and do better. That's still my reason for expanding now. The more I learn, the better art I can make.
I'd say just watch tutorials. It takes a while to find the right one for you, but watch a lot of timelapse videos, and get the basic concept of modelling/animating, and you'll learn in no time. The most important thing is to stay interested in it and motivated.

Art and design. I also loved music, but my teacher didn't really focus on the side of music that I like. They were a lot more literal about music. I'd go as far as to say it was more about sound than about music. I've always been pretty disappointed by teachers, especially ones I've actually seeked out myself for private tuition.
