Ask Zulehan stuff

there is someone you've always wanted to say something to but never could. what would you tell them?

^ presumptuous.
Sorry for the delayed reply: I was about to reply but got caught up in the rewrite for my latest short story, 'The Mapmaker,' which has led me to think 'The Mapmakers' is a more fitting title, heh. Seems an insignificant edit, but it matters a lot to me.

Ahem. Anyways:

As to your answer, my first thought is a potential romantic relationship that is never pursued and therefore never has a chance to come true. I have had thoughts of confession before during my teenage and early adulthood years. None of them ever pursued.

Thanks for the question!

Hi :) Sorry if this has already been asked, but what's your current job?
No problem. I am a tutor for English. Putting in a lot of hours. First job where I had to swear fealty to the United States, heh.

Thanks for the question!

Oh, I should be clear. This is not independent tutoring. My sessions are integrated with the classroom and attendance is required.

in writing, no edit is too insignificant imo. that was not a question but hope it's cool.
uh hm. to suffice, why have you never decided to pursue a romantic relationship with them? if too personal, please disregard. i figure it would be interesting to some to delve into these things.

on a lighter note, what did you eat for breakfast?

I imagine there are quite a few things we don't share not only out of embarrassment, but because people would rather not hear them, heh. I know I have sometimes felt that way about baggage people shared with me.

In regards to relationship, it was insecurity about myself financially, physically, mentally.

on a lighter note, what did you eat for breakfast?
Mm... steamed rice, battered fish, and sausage. A small portion; was one of each for the latter two.

I wish it was clam chowder, a bagel, a chocolate chip cookie, a baguette, and orange juice, but I am short on the moneys, so leftovers it is.

Thanks for the questions!

so are you any good at cooking?
I won't be competing with Bobby Flay in the kitchen anytime soon, cannot describe the essential or secondary role of every ingredient put into a food dish.

So no.

But I can cook a few food dishes that require actual preparation, so that I do not need to rely on the microwave or drive-through.

Thanks for the several questions you submitted.

haha what high standards. i find bobby flay to be overrated anyways. /shrugs also i'm pretty poor at coming up with compelling questions but i'm trying >>

on a typical day, what would you be wearing?

No idea if he would be overrated. Maybe that is what the other chefs are saying about him? All I do know is I saw him in that hilariously dubbed but also addicting Iron Chef, that he owns restaurants, and has several shows. Man works hard. As for the quality of his cooking, suppose I'll have to become a chef, then I can show him who makes the real hamburgers.

As for what I would be wearing, I only have a few pairs of shirts and shorts. Never did care much for picking out clothes. In fact, my family and friends, knowing this, buy them for me. Plain v-neck by Russell in black or gray, carpenter shorts by Wrangler. Long socks. Swiss made hiking boots. Neon cat belt worn inside out so I am not obvious. And because I cannot be arsed to get another belt and that was the only spare my brother had.

do u believe in ghosts
Not even sure what a ghost is. The definitions confuse me.

Thanks for the questions!

i'm sure he does work hard, also am not sure as to what other chefs say about him but i wasn't that impressed. grew up watching a rather insane amount of food network and it's stuck with me (thanks, hulu and icefilms). i guess i just prefer other shows/chefs than him. throwback to the real iron chef japanese version, quality family bonding time at 11PM lol.

edited for the : neon cat belt? oh please. i wish to see a picture someday. and no jeans for your clothing repertoire?

Yeah, the Japanese version with the corny dubbing is the one I was thinking of. Never did get into the American one. Flay was there twice. Insulted one of the Iron Chefs there by victory dancing on a cooking board after winning. Apologized and after the rematch moved the cooking board out of the way first before victory dancing.

And not sure I have a favorite chef, actually. Flay is just a well known one that came most readily to mind, especially as his new show Throwdown is addicting.

Haven't watched much Food Network in a long time (or much of any television in general), but NHK, that Japanese channel, has some nice cooking programs, too. Do not know if you have heard of that one.

I much prefer shorts, even when it is cold. I mostly wear pants for special occasions

As always, thanks for the questions.

oh interesting, seeing as how i don't have cable or anything i rely on the internet for shows. i have yet to see anything from the NHK channel that you speak of.

also i noticed you conveniently left out responding to my photo request of this cat belt. :<

Yeah, Netflix and YouTube for me. NHK is also available through an app on my iPod, but I rarely watch stuff on that small screen.

Lol. Did not know you seriously want to see it. Sure, I'll take a picture of it still on the shorts, you insistent person, you.
