This game has been so frustrating this weekend, essentially accomplished nothing except pick up an unwanted villager; could have completed my dream town just from this forum today alone but nope!
I hear ya. I haven't played my main town since september. I keep it on 9/24, because I want to go a day at a time. Dunno why, I just haven't picked it up. : /

I know, it kills me. I live through my cycling village, so it's almost as if I get all the villagers, if only for a little while.
Haha my main town has had no work done on it b/c I've basically been trying to get everyone I want in place before I plan and design >.<
To sum up my weekend, I accidentally passively picked someone up, then spent about 16 hours this weekend trying to cycle them out before giving up, missed a dream villager this morning by 20 minutes, and missed second dream villager b/c I was too focused on cycling. So yeah.
At least I gathered a lot of data about moving. I had several people tell me that even though they're the most recently moved in, it doesn't really matter, but in my experience it definitely does. About 70 move requests this weekend (without one single request from that one) says it does. The chance may not be 0%, but it is probably really low. Just thought I'd share, if the info is useful to anyone. (translation: be careful about your tenth slot if you already have 9 dreamies!)

Going to swap out laundry, then set up in the bedroom. (When it gets late, I move from the office to the bed, so I can charge while playing, and maybe fall asleep on my tablet. It's happened more than once.)

I can attest to this. I had to switch my whole town up because my 10th slot got filled with Renee. I didn't want her, but to kick her out, I had to sacrifice someone. Changed my whole lineup. I TOTALLY feel your pain.
Even when I got down to nine villagers, it STILL took her forever.

Yeah luckily I was not super attached to Bruce (I was just going to settle for him) so I sacrificed him. That happened last night; I cycled for another 8 hours today without any luck still. Oh, I should probably mention he's still in my queue, if anyone reading this wants him..
Who are your dream villagers? I can put you on the lookout list in case they aren't popular, and I'll try to keep an eye out for them in the campsite.
Oh no!! Bianca is my tenth (and I managed to get her house in a perfect spot btw!) so luckily I don't want her going away. It's gonna be hard now though, coz I don't have a jock and I think I'll have to sacrifice peanut to make space... Or Mallary, but she's my only snooty so I don't want to get rid of her until I've got Purrl :c

Punchy is the main one I've been looking for, so fairly popular. Static is the other but my fiancee actually has him and hates his house, so she's willing to give him to me (BUT he was the most recent to move into her town sooooo....)
She is looking for Butch though, as her dream cranky, so I'd appreciate if you didn't auto-void him
