Exactly my thoughts. It doesn't go to the person with the most money. I don't really want to make money off of villagers, anyway. Feels too much like a slave trade. :X

My fiancee had Marshal in his village and when I told him how much Marshal was worth, he said "sell him, sell him now." And I had gotten a few villagers on here already. So the subsequent times I went on to TBT, I would say to him: "honey, I'm going to do some animal trafficking now." He always laughs at that.

I feel so weird about that too! And people have been so nice to me on here giving away villagers I would not want to make someone pay me for a villager. And trading just feels normal too after years of trading pokemon lol

He had both Marshal and Flurry. Flurry I traded for Punchy in the end. I was hoping the bells from Marshal would make him play again (since part of the reason he quit was the grinding bells for his house loans), but alas, his interest hasn't returned. I took the liberty of decorating his house and suddenly one day, he gets the gold HHA badge. I was like what the heck!?
But he did look very pleased when I got him Midge. He said that was the first villager he talked to in the gamecube version.

Diana used to be on my dreamies list, but then I took her off because she's so difficult to obtain...so was Marshal I think. But Marshal was in my fiancee's town so I took him off. I eventually obtained Diana through a trade and was less than impressed. And as for Marshal, I still get to see him on main street.

I was stalking that thread until she said she got Coke all over her cycling system. And Lita-chan's selling her Genji so there's still hope for others out there looking for him.
