When you say looking-out, do you mean that you will notify the person that blah blah resident has moved in?

Allow me to quote "the fine print":

No villager is guaranteed to any specific person or persons. It is completely my discretion which villager goes where. If you are on the look out list, I will take the villager in from the campsite, but cannot guarantee you will be the one who will end up adopting them, although I'll try my best. If waiting for you is holding up the cycling process, I will attempt to find foster care for them until you are ready. If none is available and there is interest in the thread, then the villager will go to the person online and ready. If still none of those options are viable, then your villager will go to the abyss.


Yes, I will PM you, when they get in town AND when they go to boxes. If you aren't available for pickup, I'll even look for a foster home for your villager to go to. But, I make no guarantees at all that you will get the villager you want, since my goal is to cycle as quickly as possible.

He didn't answer, so I kept Butch overnight and the next day rehomed Butch elsewhere. IF he had answered and claimed him but didn't have room, I wold have found a foster home for him.
