Avatar animation not working?

Please read all before replying
I want to change my avatar to a gif. I have the addon bought, and enabled, along with the avatar extention addon enabled. Whenever I try to upload a new avatar as a gif, it stays as a still image. I'm not quite sure how to fix it. I've also resized the gif to be the exact size of the maximum so it's not too big. (W:150px H:100px)
Any ideas? Do I maybe have to make the file size smaller? (Also if you could like this post when you reply, it'd make it easier for me to get to. Thanks )

If you bought the avatar extension, then the max size will be 150 x 100. If not, it is 100 x 100. Make sure avatar GIF is enabled and that is is within guidelines (100x100, 150x100, and 253.9kb or less)

Ok, so my issue is the file size then and not the literal size. Its 448 KB. Lemme fix that and see if it works
