Footballs/basketballs rant

This is a bit of a rant but I can’t stress enough of why we can’t kick/throw the balls around?

This would have been an amazing opportunity and feature that would allow us to interact with villagers and Online players to play football/basketball.. a little feature like that would add so much life to the game.

I really had my hopes up when I purchased the football goals thinking the balls were movable like they were in the first ever animal crossing.. if they added basketball hoops and goals and the balls don’t move it just seems.. pointless. I mean they were on the first AC so surely they could add it onto NH since the graphics are much better?

Sounds like fun! Honestly I'll take anything to make multiplayer more interesting and fun so yeah, I'd take it. A Volleyball net on the beach you could actually use with friends would be fun too!

it is annoying, kind of cool seeing your villagers bounce them up and down, but really wish if you set up the soccer goals or hoops right you could catch them playing it at least

Would add a bit more life to multiplayer like a foot match 4vs4 and win prizes/bells for example

It's frustrating, isn't it?

I built a five-a-side football pitch on my island, as I'm a massive football fan, but being able to dribble or even kick the balls would add so much to it!

I think I'll keep it, as I really like having it near one of my beaches, but it definitely feels like a missed opportunity.
