Bam or Rudy?

If you had to choose between the two who would you pick? I'm looking for a jock with the play hobby. I have both of their amiibo cards.

Edit: I recently had Audie was a random guest at my campsite. I had to move her in ASAP because I've been looking for her for over a year. She has the fitness hobby. I currently have Roald as my jock who also has the fitness hobby. I can only stand one villager on my island at a time with that hobby, lol . So, I choose Audie over Roald. Now I'm looking for a replacement jock that doesn't have the fitness hobby. Plus, Audie decided to pick Marty as the villager to move out who had the play hobby. Now I don't have a villager with the play hobby.

Rudy is cute but too basic for my tastes.
I had him on my island recently. He survived 3 while days before I decided he was too boring to stay.

Bam on the otherhand is just awesome. Can't go wrong with chosing him. I had him so many times in new leaf.
Yet to have him on new horizons sadly.

I had Bam as a starter and really liked him and his house exterior. But as he was a starter he had basic interior that was just meh. He's probably the best jock I've had so far.

Had Bam in New Leaf... I actually think he's probably still in my town. Though I haven't checked it in quite a while. I liked him a lot. Also had/have Beau and Diana too. Diana is on my island. She's my favorite snooty villager.

I would pick Bam . He is just amazing. Actually I would have just kept Roald since he is my favorite jock. Roald is on my main island Serenity.

Rudy’s amazing. He often gets overlooked because of the other popular villagers that happen to be cats. Rudy is my favorite cat.

Both Bam and Rudy are great. They're both one of my first jock villagers a long time ago. But I prefer Rudy because of his adorable face.

I am on Team Rudy! Here is why:

He looks so cute when he is stomping around . Rudy is the reason I have learned to appreciate and love the jocks — sweat and muscle talk and all. I initially had my doubts when I first saw him at the airpot and prior to that no interest in him whatsoever, but now he is one of my favorites.

I think both of them are really solid choices. One is more cutesy, while the other is more cool.

Rudy's coloring and face marking kind of makes me think of the McDonald's M.

Overall I think Bam is superior until you get to the inside of his home which is a bit too gym like for my tastes.
