Your shading and lighting could use some work. I browsed your deviantart, and you should also work on color selection as well. The way you color skin is is extremely dull because of the colors you choose. Instead of using a darker shade of the base color, try experimenting with other colors to shade; focus on color hues instead of "darker" colors.

Your color pallet in general is discorded; you need more color harmony in your drawings. For example, in your Cobb drawing, you would only use a color one time in one area. What this does is make it hard to look at as a single drawing, and it's hard to focus on it. This doesn't mean that you have to necessarily use every color everywhere, but try to use it in more than one area.

Here's a perfect example of color harmony, from purplekeckleon: http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2013/162/0/c/noivern_by_purplekecleon-d68mifo.png

I would suggest studying some color theory as well. My last piece of advice would be to try to use less lensflares (the white glow). When you put too much, it also becomes hard to focus on the drawing.

If you have any questions concerning colors, please don't hesitate to ask. It's amazing how knowing how to work color pallets will change how a person's art is seen.

Thanks for your in-depth feedback. I just did this for fun... not really for educational purposes but it is appreciated none the less. :)
