It's OCTOBER!!! My favorite month. Not only is it Halloween month, but it's my birthday month which also happens to be ON HALLOWEEN!! No word of a lie there, it's going to be a fun end of the month. It's already started off pretty gloomy and appropriately-themed, since it hasn't stopped raining since at least 8am.
I made a little pumpkin patch that replaced my small village mum garden (since mums are my island flower) and I also replaced each item in front of my villagers' houses with a planted pumpkin, so hopefully I get some nice varieties, and HOPEFULLY Cole and Lucky actually take care of theirs.
Anyways, have a wonderful day!
Yesterday we had the biggest crowd for KK that I've seen so far!
Also caught this cute pic of Ursala singing, wearing a shirt I designed with the logo for a short-lived gaming company I started with a friend of mine!
Lastly, today I was able to harvest my first batch of pumpkins! Got a lot of orange but one each of white, green, and yellow which is very exciting! Replanted some of the rarer colors, and started decorating for Halloween!!
Everyone got a spooky lantern as a gift today. Spooky Bear Isle is coming to fruition!
I own a shirt in real life with a bear wearing a sweater holding a solo cup captioned Party Animal. Now I'm no artist, but I wanted to make it in NH so I created the "terrible party bear" sweater. Guess who wore it today?
Also noticed that the Spooky Standing Lamp has two different expressions!
After contemplating for a while, I decided that I actually really like the entire set of villagers I have right now, and Eloise makes a fine addition to my animal friends. I don't think I'll ever be able to let anyone go, only one would be Winnie but my wife loves her so I'll keep her. Makes me sad that I'll probably never get the last reaction from the smug personality type, but not sad enough to really care. Anyways, happy to have this adorable elephant still living with us.
I've updated my dream, now that I have some Halloween decorations sprinkled around the island! Enjoy! As always, recreational tools have been left near the town hall!
It's pumpkin harvesting day! As is every day it seems. I replanted the first day I harvested pumpkins, so it seems that every day now I'll have pumpkins to harvest, just more on some days than others. Also got the spooky arch recipe, so things are really spooking up on the island! Nook's Cranny had the scarecrow too, so I'm getting progressively, exponentially more excited for Halloween!
You know how you sometimes may give a villager a gift because it's worth a lot, trying to get a photo, but at the same time think "there's no way they're going to put this up in their house"?
The latter was not true in this case.
He's like "hey man thanks for stopping by. Sorry for the noise, just redecorated" and proceeds to read a book. Hopefully we can all be as chill as Cole.
