I really have no idea what happened, but Beau's house is just gone now from time traveling back a few hours(I went to 4PM). I'm so bummed about this, I'm sorry for wasting everyone's time and running around like that.

He really shouldn't have been asleep if it was his packing day. I thought they were supposed to be there ready to talk to until 6AM.

I've opened my gates, so come on by and pick up your bells when you can, every bag is where it was. If I get Beau in my cycling town, he'll be yours, pebbles! I feel so horrible about this.

That is really very strange! Are you sure you went back to 4pm on the previous day rather than the current day? Anyhow, it is alright, accidents happen, and TTing is a risky business (I know from experience). It's a bit saddening but I appreciate the opportunity anyway. I'll come over now ^^

Even on packing/moving day, the villagers go up at their usual time. They are not ready to be visited from 6am on. If Rose travelled to the previous day that counts as +1 day in the game. Beau should still be in the cache though, it's not guaranteed but if pebbles visits rose's town she may still get him. Worth a shot maybe?

Oh so they won't be awake all night? Learned something new there xD And if I got him from the cache, how long would it take him to set up a plot? I wouldn't want to adopt another villager and overwrite any possibility of him moving in

you would see the new plot within 1-2 days just the same as if you'd asked him to move. Just one hick there though: if rose had recently another villager move to the void, they are all in that cache and you might get a random one from the cache.

I always create a new character and check my town the day a villager is supposed to move just to ensure that the villager is packed and still in my town.
Villagers are kept in the cash so you can recuperate them this way if you swap the time to when you were when you last saw him/her. That, of course, if you did not load your main character in between...
