So... I feel silly for asking, but I tried searching for it. What is 'Welcome' in the transaction log? Is it just logging in? I earned 400 bells for this. It just seems a little strange. Not that I'm complaining
Also, it seems like you have to spend a few bells to edit a post. Is there a reason for this? Again, not complaining, just wondering.
You get like 400 bells for being a new member or something, I forget how many posts it has to be. I might be wrong, I just remember getting a huge chunk of bells when I was new.
I remember when I first made my account I started out with a hundred something or a couple hundred bells, but 'Welcome' has shown up a few times. It looks like I got the 400 bells yesterday? After I had been posting for a few days, anyway. Another is from September 26th, and that time I earned 150 bells.
There are few bell 'instalments' you earn on your early days on the forum to give you a boost above regular post earnings, those all come under the "Welcome" category. We prefer not to disclose the exact specifics.
Edit subtractions are recalculations so you don't earn double bells when editing. You shouldn't actually be losing anything.
Ohhhh ok, I think I get it now. And re: editing posts, I just saw that it said that I spent some bells while editing, I didn't think to check my actual bell amount! That makes sense.
