Bell Tree Catalog?

So, I'm not a very tech savy person. I have no clue what it takes to program something like this. But I can't imagine it would be too incredibly difficult.

The only other major AC website out there I can think of is Animal Crossing Community. And really...it's only appeal, at least to me, is it's site catalog (I really detest the website otherwise, especially the staff). Many of you might know what I'm talking about, but basically, they divide up the various categories of items, and have an online checklist that individuals can use to keep track of their progress in the game.


What would it take to get something like that up and running on this website? Is that an idea that interests anyone? Has it been discussed/attempted before?

There's an app for most smartphones, I believe, called Animal Crossing: New Leaf Guide and it has all you want and more inside of it. It's free to download and works great!

That app, unfortunately, does not include furniture/clothing items at this moment. I don't know if furniture/clothing is expected to be added later(it probably is), but for now, there is this site to keep track of furniture/clothing.

I'm pretty sure you can create an account and can use it as a checklist, but I never made an account there, so I am not sure.

I know there are several sites which host catalogs.

I was simply suggesting the idea that maybe we, as a community, could make our own catalog for our members.


Also, many of those others sites are clunky and just not use friendly. I think we could make something better. Something more along the lines of what ACC does, which is why I brought them up.

anyway idk a catalog would be pretty cool for belltree. would be easier for people looking for items. they could search and it can maybe show up people who have it??

Yeah, exactly! The way it works over at ACC is that you have a personal towns section, where you can add characters from each of the games. And then each of those character's has a catalog, that you can check off individually for that character. And when someone visits your profile on the website, they can browse your characters and towns, and view each catalog.

Have you ever considered making apps like these, but for the previous games? It must be a lot of work, but I for one know I would buy one for each game. It's so handy to just be able to keep track of everything on the go from my phone.
