Thank you very much for the kind words! tbh the only reason I added the WIPs is to prove that I'm working on them despite my slow pace lol, but if people enjoy seeing them then I'll be sure to try and continue showing them in the thread.

Once I get either the next commission or an art trade done I'll be opening 2 (maaaybe 3) more slots so keep an eye out! c:

A question: Would you consider captains from Sunless Sea "characters from video games"? They're as close to being OCs as ACNL mayors are, since it's a game almost entirely revolving around storytelling and choices with consequences to your character.

I'm not too familiar with that game, but as long as it has similar character customization as ACNL, Fantasy Life, some MMOs and so on where the player character's appearance is completely tailored based on the player's preference then they're OK in my book!

It's an indie game that sprang from a browser game, they can't afford that xP but they have nonspecific cameos for in-game, and literally everything more than that is just headcanon. I'd say it's a bit like a pen-and-paper in the customisation regard, hence why I asked~ It feels like any other written-story OC to me, but I don't want to accidentally do anything under false pretenses by being careless ;~;

Might as well and post a WIP! I keep going back and forth with thinner and thicker lines but oh well. The object she's holding is meant to be a temporary placeholder for the actual lilies.

Ah I see! Well I don't see why I can't draw the character as long as I have the references I need (either a visual reference or a well-written description from head-to-toe is OK).
