Pokémon Best generation for each type

If you had to pick apart each type, what generation do you think brought the best Pok?mon from each type?

My Take:

Although I haven?t played enough, I can say this much. The 1st Generation (including Alola forms and Megas) had better Water Pok?mon, better Ice Pok?mon, and better Ground Pok?mon than the rest, while the 7th Generation is the best when it comes to Bug, Ghost, and Rock Pok?mon.

This was kind of interesting to think about. Here is my opinion.

Gen 1: Had the best Poison-types, and some really good Fire-types.
Gen 2: Had a lot of my favorite Grass-types, and some great Normal-types.
Gen 3: Brought some of the best Water and Dragon-types so far.
Gen 4: Kind of hard to attribute specific types to, but its Ground-types were really good.
Gen 5: Best Ghost-types by far in my opinion.
Gen 6: Has the best fairy types (coincidentally also has some of the only fairy types).
Gen 7: Had some of the best Bug-types.
