Best way to spend seashells?

The bell tree forum noobs (no offense) get 20 seashells to spend on when they start. However, they can't earn seashells afterwards as there is no way to. Once you spend your seashells, they're gone forever. So what should you spend those 20 seashells on?

I'm not entirely sure. I still have my 10 seashells so I will just keep them forever. :/ Not entirely sure.

I got 10, and bought a name change.

I spent like 4 of mine on user title changes. I haven't gotten my second round of seashells yet, but once I do I may or may not get a username change, I'm still on the fence.

You make a good point thou when you say you can only earn 20 and have no way of earning more. I think it's more so for newbies who want to get stuff but don't have any bells (which is why I spent my shells instead of bells).

In my opinion the seashells are most useful for username changes. Name changes cost 1200 bells otherwise which is quite a lot. If you are certain you will never change your name, mailboxes or avatar extensions are good investments.

You get 10 when you join and 10 on your 2-year anniversary of joining the forum.

I haven't spent mine yet. I'm holding onto them just in case I ever feel a need for a name change so I don't have to waste bells on that. There really isn't anything else that I could spend shells on that I would want.
