Okay, so I know that a lot of people binge watch TV shows and movies and whatnot, but does anyone binge-read? Like, you know, you sit down with a really good book, and before you know it you just spent the last couple hours, lost in another world.

I haven't actually been reading much over the last couple months (since I got out of my Junior year of high school... which was 4 months ago...), but I just recently started to read Christine by Stephen King from where I left off a couple months ago. I don't normally read very much, but I have spent a couple hours every day for the last two days just reading this book. I always read it in my free time at school now, and even in car rides and at home when I have nothing else to do.

When I am done with this book, I will start reading East of Eden, and then I might find another classic to read. Maybe I'll re-read The Good Earth or The Alchemist.

Does anyone else like to binge-read? If so, what have you been reading lately?

I binge-read all the volumes of Orange in a few hours.

Besides that and a few other mangas, the last time I actually did a huge reading dump for my own enjoyment and not for school, it was probably a couple summers ago when I reread the whole Guardians of Ga'Hoole series. They're still great books, and surprisingly violent/graphic for children's books, but I guess owl violence doesn't count?

I'm always binge reading, always have a book on the go. I tend to go through phases of reading several books within a couple of weeks and then I'll have one on the go for weeks while I'm watching things of playing something.
While I was in hospital I binge read the first 3 books in the gunslinger series, now on to book 4 which I'll probably whizz through once I get back into it and get through the other 3 books in no time. Prior to that I was reading all of Stephen kings regular story collection, again, so IT, misery, nightmares and dreamscapes, night shift, full dark no stars, salems lot, Gerald's game, tommyknockers, Carrie, green mile, pet semetary...plus more....got through them within about 3 months. Can very often finish a good book within a couple of days and move on to the next straight after. I'm a massive Stephen King fan

In the summer, I binge read a few novels at a camp I was at. In fact, I think I finished about four books in the space of the six days I was there.

I tend to be really slow with reading books. I don't read very quickly; I read at about 290 words per minute, and my comprehension is about 73%. I tend to have concentration issues anyways. I wonder if reading a lot will resolve those issues...?

I read about 20 pages of my book today, but I was busy most of the day so I think I did okay.

I used to binge read when I was a kid and it was extremely magical. Back in 2009, I did that with fanfics too.

Haven't done it in years. ^^;

I used to binge read a bunch of YA novels cause I thought it kept me more focused/fixated rather than picking it up every now and then. Plus, they were never too long. Usually like 300 pages. But then this reading slump happened ugh
