So I am participating in the Camp NaNoWriMo next month and I can't for the life of my think up a title for my book.

The basic premise is a zombie apocalypse story where most of the world is dead already, and the zombies have starved out for the most part. My main character is a young lady traveling the wastelands left behind searching for others who made it through, lots of traveling and surviving, not so much action as one would expect from a zombie novel, but in my head it's to the point where there are hardly any zombies left cause they did their job wiping people out, the roads and buildings are littered with bodies, and now the few, as in the book are called "shamblers" left behind are sluggish for the most part since they've nearly starved back to death with the lack of humans to eat. Of course there will be a few epic zombie fights, I mean there has to be some patches of them right? Basically she'll be traveling over a few states using different methods, making lots of stops, growing as she goes, remembering good times, bad times, and when everything started, slowly explaining what happened and why it happened through her memories.
I want to eventually make it a series maybe during the next NaNoWriMo I'll write my next one.. the core of it is basically not losing hope even in hopeless times, but I can't for the life of me think up a good name for it, so I am looking for suggestions and ideas.

Wait you haven't written it yet? It's not really necessary at all to have the title of your novel present when writing it (this is often more so in short stories I find). So just write it before you figure out the title (trying to think of a title before you have written it is often time wasted, often a procrastination method). By the end you will have either thought of a good title somewhere along the way, or if you want something clever that is relevant to the story it will make more sense if it's created after it's written in the first place (as a relevant title thought of before can be restricting).

I have started writing it and have most of the story planned out, I am just saving it for Camp NaNoWriMo next month, and a lot of the campers have titles for their books already and it makes me want one for mine. =[

If you want to fit in with your camp mates because they have titles then sure, it'll be easy to think of something unoriginal and generic, but unfortunately that's exactly what your story will be. Don't feel pressured by other people's stories! Your value will come from independence and originality =]

i would write the book then find out the title, i think it comes easier that way! because if you come up with a title beforehand and it ends up not fitting in with how your story goes, you could feel pressure to keep it under what the title states if that makes sense. if you really want one, i would go with a generic one then change it at the very end if you feel as if it doesn't fit anymore. (if you can do that) also, good luck on nanowrimo! i wish i could do it, but i have no time and get writer's block way too easily. i'm really not good at coming up with titles so i can't be of any help there, but i hope what i said earlier helps~
