Build-A-Bear Animal Crossing: New Horizons collection coming soon!

I no longer have a build a bear close but I am still excited!
I would like some of the villagers that don't already have an official plush, but I do get that they will probably do either NPCs like Nook and etc since those are the ones that sell.

I'm really excited for this, I never really shop at build-a-bear (though I do buy a lot of soft toys/plushies from other places) but I'll definitely be making a trip for these. I'd really love plushies of all my favourite villagers, in particular Fauna, but I think if they went for any villagers they'd probably pick the new ones from NH to narrow it down. I'm presuming though that it will only be NPCs like Isabelle and Tom Nook, which is still exciting, but if they do only go for NPCs I'd love to be able to get a plushie Celeste and Pascal - I know it's very unlikely but I can dream :D

Sooo exciting! I'm hoping for Celeste and Blathers if they go for NPCs, and for villagers I would like to see Stitches and Pietro. Realistically they will pick more marketable villagers, so maybe Fang and Apollo have a chance as well.

Sounds awesome, but I’m trying not to get my hopes up too high for villagers. I’m so bored of plushies of Tom Nook, Isabelle, K.K., Resetti etc

Man, if I could get a Chrissy plush that would be cool!
I wonder if it will be a bunch of villager plushes we could get, or if will just be bears wearing clothes with pictures of Isabelle or Tom Nook, or something like that haha.
If it’s custom villager plushes, I’m buying like ten haha.
:eek::eek:
nooooooo!!
lol!! I do hope it is actual villagers. Actually, I kind of wonder if they will go this other route. Ok so like they have had pokemon do a thing with build a bear before... it was the 3 kanto starters, I think I remember even vulpix kanto and aloan, eevee, meowth, and pikachu. I don't remember if there were any others. For new Villagers in New Horizons we have Dom, Audie, Cyde, Megan, Raymond, Judy, Reneigh, and Sherb. Not that i matters much, but both lists are 8 plushes. When you ordered the pokemon build a bears, they came with a pokemon card of the pokemon build a bear you ordered.
What if they did an amiibo card with the plush before they released official packs of amiibo cards of the new villagers. :censored:

My prediction is that it will be a mix of popular NPCs like K.K. Slider and Isabelle, maybe one or two of the new villagers like Audie and Raymond, and some classic favourites like Stitches. Would love if they made a Celeste and Blathers plush, but I am excited for this!
Yeah I really could care less about a Isabelle plush. It'd be cool if they actually did some of the villagers because Isabelle is so mainstream now that you can find a plush of her in a hundred forms.

Plot twist: They having a NFC chip in one of their feet or paws, which turns them into (giant) amiibos. Therefore, if you want their amiibos, you have to buy the Build-A-Bear plushes of them (and saying goodbye to your wallet at the same time).

 that would be insane. and inconvenient beyond the wallet issue.
They better come with a pouch for your switch on their back lol. Or come in a small size.

And it's also time sensitive like the Mario anniversary game and will exploded in 7 months.

I went there once with a friend(she was buying not me). The whole experience was not pleasant. It's not like you can just go in and grab what you want there is a whole process that you are forced to go through. And the line is long and slow moving because of it. And it's so over priced. No matter what it is it's not worth it for me.

That'd be AWESOME 😍 As long as it isn't the ONLY way to get it, lol. But it'd be neat if there was a furniture item or something that you could only get through Build a Bear!
But, again, nothing TOO fancy. I'm lucky to live near-ish to a Build-a-Bear (one of the biggest and best, actually), but not everyone is, and IDK if they ship everywhere. So it'd be a shame if that was the only way to get the Amiibos!

Am I the only one who'd love an Isabelle? She'd be so fun to dress up and imagine how cuddly she'd be ☺ My BFF also loves Shi tzus, so I imagine she'd be excited. Though I'm guessing she'd mostly want a Lucky, lol.

Even if they start with Isabelle and the basics (again, I think K.K. Slider is basically guaranteed), though, it'd be neat if they eventually added more options! Maybe seasonal ones- like Lucky and Jack for Halloween, Erik and Jingle for Christmas, etc. Or maybe they could even do polls to see what people want!

The pouch idea sounds actually cute and funny, I would love it if they would do this. And speaking of small size, how about plush keychains which would have those amiibo chips in them? After all, there are small plush amiibos in form of those yarn Yoshis and I'm pretty sure such amiibo plush keychains could become extremely popular.

IM SOOOOOO HYPED
sadly my fav characters are more obscure and in some cases widely hated so no hope for my favs getting plushies there but im sure they'll have isabelle and I'll take her gladly :'D

Ah, really? I love Build-a-Bear myself! But I' was used to Basic Brown Bear Factory. It was a similar concept that was available near me long before Build-a-Bear and it was absurdly expensive with an even more elaborate process. Also, the items were ridiculously expensive (one small bear was AT LEAST $30-$40, whereas the same would be $10-$20 at Build-a-Bear) and the quality was... well, one bear literally ripped the day I made it. I honestly think they may've been made in someone's basement. Same with the clothes- very limited options, very expensive, and my mom could've made better quality. It eventually went out of business after Build-a-Bear became popular (now it's in the same mall Basic Brown Factory was in) and... honestly, it was kind of sad, but inevitable. It was a fun place for parties, but only if you had a few hundred dollars to drop on a few kids. And, again, only if you were willing/able to repair any same-day tears. Also, if you hate the Build-a-Bear process, try a lecture on the history of teddy bears every. dang. time. you make a bear (or dragon, the name was deceptive, they had more then just bears)

Build-a-Bears can be costly if you get all the bells and whistles, but the quality has always been very nice IMO. Admittedly I haven't bought many recently (I got a Squirtle when those came out a few years ago, but haven't gone since, but my Squirtle is very well-made) but back when I used to go practically monthly (don't judge me, I was a kid) the quality was fantastic, the prices were great, the amount of options was unmatched, and the process was fun but not overly complicated (and they were always willing to skip the sillier parts of the process if you asked nicely).

that's cool, but none of my fav villagers are popular online so I doubt they'll make plushies of them :(

I agree, I’m not fond of having to go in there. I’ve never ordered from them online but that seems to be an option, provided the shipping doesn’t cost too much?
