Bunny day 2021?

I'm just a ghost.
Its going to be the same like last time but the only difference is that it will last from March 28th to April 4th so thats like 1 week compared to 2 weeks last year. There will also be new items at the shop and new diys to learn when using Bunny Day eggs.
Thank GOURD it will be shorter this year. It was so epicly long last year, plus I mean why would any Easter event need to be two weeks long?
I wonder what the new items will be. I am really hoping for more useful items.
I agree that the items we have now are pretty useless. I've seen some people use the bed and the fence in some nice and creative ways, but even that is situational.
I feel like their are so many ways they could go with a spring / bunny theme that could actually be usable - ESPECIALLY for outdoor furniture. So I'm really hoping we get good outdoor items.

there's one new item that was shown on the animal crossing twitter account and it looks quite nice! i'm not sure how to describe it so i'll try and find a picture for you. it's still very easter themed so not particularly usable year-round for a lot of people, but it's still cute.

I really want some bunny day clothing but I doubt it since its sold in nooks and not the able sisters.
The bunny day clothing was dresses. I want a bunny day suit. I would rock the heck out of that.

Compared to last year, the prep time is only 7 days instead of 12. The mechanics seem to be the same, but this time with new items being sold on Nook's Cranny. Most likely, this event is time-locked.

I actually really like that!!! It totally is Easter themed, I agree with that. But its still a bit more chill than some of the kind of out there DIYs we have haha.
It reminds me of the cute little flags that people do hang up around here for Easter (and other holidays) so I could totally see using those outside of houses!
I feel like the bunny day clothes were the true travesty haha. And then we got those awful dresses in like four different colors?? Why?? Nobody wanted or needed that.
Also YAS I would love a snazzy pastel suit, and / or a vest!
The new items seem to be rabbit themed this time around, which is pretty great. I just hope that these are customizable, along with an update that makes last year's egg set customizable as well. Please give me white boiled eggs or gritty dino eggs instead of colorful pastel eggs. 
That's never been a problem. The Bunny Day balloons spawn in addition to the normal balloons, so they aren't replacing balloons that could potentially have cherry blossom recipes.Still overlaps with the sakura recipes.
It is a problem because the constant balloon sounds throw me off. Maybe other people have more focus but for me it makes it difficult to keep the farming up long enough.
I agree having them overlapping made it difficult for me as well. Which is why I got so few Sakura DIYs. I have a hard time hearing the balloons and most times I did I got an egg. It would be nice if they were different weeks.
Nook's Cranny will stock new Bunny Day items, but I believe the event items will be the same.
