They are interactable furniture items that can be displayed. You buy them in the seasonal section of Nook's Cranny, at least that's all i know.

I might have to go back to shaking trees. That's another way to find variants not available at Nook's.Yes, from what I've heard, everyone has only one color for each toy. So we're all going to have to rely on catalog trades.

I just got a dog plushie yay finally
Been working on cataloging all the new items using one puppy I got from someone and it's really taking a while to find people to trade with, but manage to get all the helicopters, puppies and the costumes.
The puppies are real cute, they don't deactivate by themselves, they just keep on barking forever. Infinite battery.

It was so worth it trading for the rest of the color variations ^.^ the pups are impossibly adorable and the RC helicopters are so nifty! If only we could actually take hold of the remote and zip zoom! it all around the island! Imagine having helicopter races with friends! But of course, that's just wishful thinking~

My first toy at Nooks Cranny was a green dinosaur that I bought for my husbands character
If only there was a racing minigame when interacting with either the mini circuits or helicopter. That would have been awesome!

I've been time traveling to get all the toy variations. I'm just leaving them by my airport so people can just come and catalog all of my variants quickly instead of having to run into my nook's each time.
