"Hi! Since your back here, I'm guessing you work here too. I'm Kayla, the new waitress. Who are you?"

"Kayla, whats the order? Remember, tell me and uh... the other barista the order!" Amelia looks over at the person beside her, then back at Kayla.

"Ah, okay. It's coffee with two spoonfuls of sugar. Who's the other barista, and where are they?" I glance back over. JACKPOT! I got a baker. Hopefully she makes good pastries.

After chucking the dead rat away, I re enter and sit on a counter, stretching my arms as I take a quick breather. "Did I miss anything?"

"Not exactly sure!" Amy says, hoping that her tone was like an invitation to introduce them self. Her red hair flopped about as she swiftly started on the drink.

"Me...I got it." I quickly take the Mocha (ACNL taught me that) beans, put it into the coffee maker, and put two sugar cubes in it when it's done. "Here."

"Thanks." He seemed as out of it as I was.
I carry it over to the random customer. "Here you go! It's best to drink it hot." He doesn't say anything more, so I walk away.
I start looking for Amy. I needed to ask her something.

"Next time, ask how much milk they want, and what kind of beans. I hope no one orders any pastries yet, we have none prepared!" Amelia fretted a bit.

Amelia looks behind her while sifting through the cabinets and drawers,
"Just one!"

"One? Just one?! Just one is enough to sink this business for good!"

He sets down the last bag of flour with more force than previous bags.

"It is not the bakery. I clean this room thoroughly while the bread is baking. Not a speck or a crumb remains on the floor. It's those chefs!"

Well, looks like I'm not flying solo...that sucks. I sigh as I continue to inspect everything.

Since there is nothing prepared yet, I get out a few ingredients and start making pastries, since they are fairly simple and I can make them easily. Is anyone else baking?

"No one noticed, I hope. The chefs just need to clean up a bit better!"

"Crap... I hope he likes mocha. If he does, I'm taking it as the barista's psychic and can tell what people want just by looking. Anyways, are we supposed to pick up the money before the customer leaves, or will they leave it on the table for me to pickup?"

I go around preparing and cleaning tables. I put a vase on a table, but all the flowers I choose are deathly black, and sorta scary. Hmmm, PERFECT!

"Just let them leave it on the table, unless they come to the counter. Thats more of a to-go counter."

"Thanks. He looks like he's done, so I'll go over and see."
I walk over to the man. He's through, but he doesn't show any signs of moving yet. "Was it good?"
"Top notch! I don't know what kind of barista you have or whats in this thing, but it hit the spot! I'll be coming back again!"
"Glad you enjoyed it! Since it's 20% off, it'll be 4$ instead of five."
He hands me a 6 dollars, then walks off. Wow. First customer and already a tip? I'm on a role. I wonder how this cafe handles tips.
