Gyroids are one of my favorite parts of Animal Crossing, and I really hope they introduce new gyroid types in this game because the only new ones we?ve gotten since the original are the Brewstoids. With being able to place furniture outside, I wonder if we can do this with gyroids too? Just imagine hearing the rattle of a poltergoid from an unseen corner of your island in the middle of the night.. that?s just one example of the many wonderful and creative things you could do with gyroids outside! I love to theme the rooms in my house around gyroids; like I?ll have a drilloid yelling in a bathroom stall, or I?ll have a gyroid ?pushing? a lawnmower. What?s your favorite gyroid? Do you think we?ll get new ones in this game? Do you think we can put them outside, too? Share your thoughts about gyroids, what you like to do with them, and what role you think they?ll play in New Horizons! Even if you don?t like them, voice your opinion! I really like gyroids and usually like to put one in each of my rooms. I would hope they allow you to place gyroids outside in New Horizons. It could be a nice throwback to Gamecube, as that game always had a gyroid outside. My favorite gyroid has to be the Mega Dekkoid. It was the first gyroid I ever found in the original Gamecube version, and as such I have always had an attachment to it. It's been featured in all of my towns and this island will be no exception.

To be honest, I feel like I don?t really ?get? the gyroids yet.
They?re kind of neat, I suppose?I?ve just mostly ignored them so far because I didn?t know what to do with them. Still, they should definitely be featured in the new game again. I like your idea of placing them outside and think that does open up some interesting design possibilities!

I hope they add additional gyroid "behaviors" beyond syncing up with music. I don't really know what, but there's so many and they're so weird and cool, but it's hard to make room for them
I love gyroids and I think being able to put them outside would be a really great idea! Some of the sounds they make would be perfect for setting the mood of a town or island.
My favorite gyroids are the lullaboids, the metatoids, the poltergoids, the gongoids, the percoloids, the echoids, and the croakoids. It's so hard to narrow it down to just one. I currently try to use them in my homes to work with whatever music I have playing, but I think they're also great on their own in a quiet room, especially a room with a creepy vibe.

I don't even know what to do with all my gyroids. I don't display them in my house since they don't fit the theme. They're too many to put in my storage so I just dump them in the beach until I find some use for them.

It would make collecting them so much less tedious and easier to keep track of the ones you're missing.
But I digress — I think it'd be a great idea to be able to put them outside, like little gyrating totems of sorts to jazz up the island!

I fully agree with that. My idea would be, that they could use the storage rooms from New Leaf in a official way, by having K.K. or Brewster rent them. Every gyroid can only be donated once and they might be split over multiple rooms. The more gyroids you get the more clearer it gets, that they are playing some kind of tune. Once you collect all (in one room) you are able to listen to a complete tune.

I tried collecting every gyroid in my new leaf town and I ended up getting all but 4 when I stopped playing. I created an alt character just so I could line up all of my gyroids in a house and they filled up every room. Placing them outside does sound like a neat idea.

i love gyroids i didn't even think that we might be able to put them outside!!! i think it would be fun to have them scattered throughout the town and have a few in front of my house c: besides that i think it would be really nice to have a gyroid museum section just for funsies...
I erally really really hope there will be gyroids!!! And a gyroid merchant is a really cute idea! I feel like they're a pivotal and original feature of the game and they don't get near enough the amount of love that they should!

Not only should we have the option to place gyroids outside but to have more of them making sounds at the same time. New Leaf allowed only up to 5 to make sounds at the same time and just increasing the number a tad bit would be nice.

I am all for more official museum exhibits. I'd love to see Gyroids, and Botanicals...I loved NL adding statues and diving creatures.

Placing the gyroids outside would be cool so I could create like a gyroid garden or something lol! Like some others have said here, I hope there's a means of collecting them and storing them like in a museum exhibit or something. It would introduce newer fans to enjoy them more since New Leaf didn't really incorporate them into anything
I sure hope gyroids are back and that you will be able to put them outside. This would be the perfect
template for horror themed islands, like a island which got overtaken by the gyroids for example. Besides,
listening to their weird noises outside along with the background music probably sounds lovely.
