Calling all gyroid enthusiasts!

I could imagine that they gonna do something new with gyroids this time, like making them more
important and giving them this time their own room in the museum. Just like with fishes, bugs, art
and fossils, you collecting also various gyroids and you will be able to donate them at the museum.
And once you collected and donated them all, their sounds combine and whenever you enter the
room, you can listen to a lovely "song", made by all gyroids. At least I would find it cool if they
would do something like this.

Alternative, placing them outside and hear their noises along with the hourly music in the background
would be nice too.

I don't collect all gyroids, but I do collect much of the same ones I did in previous versions of Animal Crossing, like Warbloid, Gargloid, Lullaboid, Nebuloid, Quazoid, Oboid (I might be forgetting some). I miss gyroids being outside of your home and holding extra items for you. I highly doubt that'll make a comeback in Horizons, but here's to hoping I guess. :(

Gyroids are endlessly fascinating to me. They are like an unusual music instrument. I love to find the right combination of music and gyriods - even if they are not of the same set.

I have the lullaboids and a quazoid playing along with Stale Cupcakes, and metatoids playing along with Forest Life. Working out if anything goes with K.K. Jongara now...

I set the rest up in a museum exhibit with the Sci-Fi theme (standing at consoles, etc...) -- gyroids exploring space!

My favorite gyroids are the Brewstoids, Freakoids, Howloids, Percoloids, Poltergoids, and Rustoids. I'm fond of gyroids in general since I started with the GameCube game and they were a bit easier to justify throwing into my rooms before the addition of newer furniture items and sets. I still use them, but they usually have to fit with whatever room they're in so a Poltergoid might go in a more unsettling room, while I have Rustoids hanging out in a cabin room due to their wooden appearance.

I'm liking the idea of putting some outside like was suggested in the first post. Whether just in a random spot, or maybe sitting outside your house as a sort of callback to the GameCube game.

They're pretty neat, and their being based on Japanese haniwa funerary figurines is really interesting. Hopefully we'll get more gyroid varieties introduced in this game.

I'm one of those people whose really obsessed with gyroids, i'm also planning to buy real figures... I wish if there would be a museum dedicated to gyroids and like that one user who said, I like to imagine them having a specific job in each room, like in the kitchen i would put one gyroid that makes noises similar to cooking that I pretend he's there cooking etc.. I just love them :)

I love gyroids! They are another element of animal crossing that make the game so quirky and are the strangest, low maintenance pets that you could possibly have. I have my second floor of my museum with a couple of rooms displaying my extensive gyroid collection. It would be really nice to see some new ones in new horizons for sure! I especially hope that we can get some outdoor ones again or maybe even customisable gyroids! Imagine that. It would also be cool if there could be some rare gyroids as there are fish and insects to make collecting them all the more fun. Just my thoughts :)

Oh yeah! Definitely love the gyroids too and hope they make a return as well! I love digging them up after rain or snow and hopefully they will introduce some new ones. I'll probably put a few of them outside to make it more interesting provided that we can put them outside. I would really love it if they put in some new sounding ones too. My favorite ones from New Leaf were the harmonoids, and Lullaboids. I believe those were the names of them. :p

I love gyroids and have some in my house. My favorite ones are the lullaboid gyroids, I really like the sounds they make and how well they fit with the overall atmosphere. There are some gyroids I'm not really a fan of and just end up selling those to be honest. Sometimes it can be hard to store them too.

I hated Gyroids in City Folk, I just could never see the point of them. As soon as I dug them up I sold them, the wretched things.

I love them!
I?ve been eyeing videos and news to see if there?s any mention of adding them to horizons. If they got rid of them...it would be a almost a deal breaker.

i don?t really care for the gyroids tbh, but i think it could be cool if you could place them outside in new horizons lol
