Campsite visitor when you have an empty plot that’s taken by island hunt villager

Dom moved out yesterday, so I have an empty plot today. Faith (one of the new villagers) is in my campsite. I decided to take 5 NMTs to look for a new one. I found Marshal on my 3rd ticket. I’ve never had him, so I had to invite him. My question is… Can I still try to get Faith to move in by kicking out another villager? Will it mess up Marshal moving in?

Well you can but the problem is that since Faith is a random visitor if you convince her to move in she will randomly pick one of your villagers to move out. The trick to this is that if you see the villager's name that you don't want to be moved out. Just close your game and restart the process. Of course you have to redo the card mini game again, but as soon as you do that she will pick someone else. Also it wont mess up the move in process when you have Marshal. Marshal will move in the next day and then Faith will move in the day after Marshal moves in.
