I know if you move lighted trees, they will change to non-lighted, so I'm growing some from saplings. Is there a chance some of them will become lighted?
Can cedar trees grow from a sapling become lighted trees?

Can anybody actually explain the mechanics behind which have lights and which don't?
I remember trying to relocate some hardwood trees of different shades of orange/red, and they weren't always the same shade when I replanted them. In fact, I think any tree was always the same color when planted in a given spot. But I've tried moving cedar trees around and they don't seem to change.
