Can no longer visit my main island with my second island

I will try that I just don’t want to lose the progress I made on either islands DLC .

The only thing is you only have to worry about yourself that owns the game and DLC, if you delete it from your Switch it will not affect the save data. You can redownload it and all the stuff that you did in the DLC should still be there.

Yeah I hope this time it will work. Like I said it maybe a physical issue on your end, because for me since I have both digital copies with both having the DLC it still works for me locally.

Buddy I hate to tell you this, but if you want to play locally with yourself you must have a 2nd copy of the game, that has a 2nd account with a 2nd online membership.

Not completely true. If u make a second account and character it can visit the others island by local play. So u don't need the online membership.

Yeah I used to visit both islands freely, now I can only do it while my secondary characters files r the ones open, very annoying.

Oh right I forgot, about that. I guess if you wanted to trading with online with both users then you do need online membership for them but for locally its not a problem when playing with yourself.

Ok so I took the DLC off the one switch and going back and forth between islands is now fine. At least I can go back and forth with my island reps that way . I am going to redownload it now tried it again Looks like the only way is to not have the download on the one switch . Thanks for all the help @RoxasFan20 . I’m just glad I can still switch my villagers , will be a pain but at least it’s possible. Will have to remember to do most trades with my alt characters between islands .
