Can't find foreign fruit?

So, I was super excited about the addition of the nook miles ticket, because it seemed finding foreign fruit would be a lot more fun and easy. But, I think I've bought about 10 tickets today, and I've gotten 2 bamboo islands, and 8 cherry islands, which is my native fruit. I'm getting pretty frustrated and kind of losing my mind. I'm not crazy, right? There should be some other kind of fruit showing up eventually?

I've gone to a few of the Nook Miles Ticket islands and they've all had my native fruit except for one which had bamboo. I have been looking for non-native fruits too!

I've gone on like 10 or more islands and only one had non native fruits. So it can happen!! It's just very rare

Yeah it's just random. You're just unlucky right now. I'm also in the same boat, all the islands I've been to so far have all had my native fruit. However, when my sister was playing with her character she got an island with a different fruit. Keep trying!

i've been on about 5 or 6 so far and i've gotten peaches on one (my native fruit is cherries).. haven't ran into bamboo yet!
