To be clear, I know the steps for deleting an island and restarting: go into the save data and delete the data for ACNH. I've done it before but this time it won't work!
A few caveats:
I have two Nintendo Switches. One for myself and one for my daughter. My account is on both of them but until today, have been playing ACNH only on MY Switch.
When it came out, I used the Island Transfer Tool to transfer both out islands from my daughter's Switch to my Switch, then transferred my daughter's (non-resident-representative house) back to her Switch.
She doesn't play anymore and I want to create another island on the Southern Hemisphere this time.
When I delete the save data and start the game again, it wants to update and I'm not left with any choice other than to obey.
I've tried restarting under my user profile and under hers. And every time, her island is still there.
Help?
