Sadly I didn't have more time to work on my entry this round, had to do it in one sitting and rush the shading. Thank you for the event Laudine, I had a fun time trying out digital art for the 1st time!!
Attempted to include Northern lights.
Here's mine. Purple sky, why not? I did half of this using a laptop trackpad >_<; But I did enjoy it! I'm sad I missed out on the others, I'll probably download and colour them anyway. Thanks for the beautiful linework
So I thought I'd try pencil colouring for the last one.. Whoa that took a lot longer than I thought it would! The blending tutorials I did and blending stumps I got didn't help as much as I had hoped, but here's the result! The sky was particularly hard to do without looking too messy.
Thank you once again for this wonderful artwork, Laudine! I do not do digital coloring work, and after seeing some of the submissions during week one I made it my goal to challenge myself to improve my coloring/digital painting ability. I am very happy with how mine turned out, even though as I was doing it I was realizing how I could have done it better - so it was literally a lesson for me. So thanks for the motivation to work on my art skills! It was really a blast and your illustrations are really so wonderful and inspiring.
Eep how do people do their images so it doesn't show up small and pixelated like mine did? It looks good on imgur but it looks bad in the post. If it's possible to edit the way the image is linking that would be nice, thanks!
here the last one with more fun shiny pokemon
celeste noctowl is having fun flying with her brother blather the decidueye
and cufant, buneary/lopunny, misgamuis are looking up to the sky seeing the beautiful constellation

AM FINISHING LATE YET AGAIN,,
But here's mine!! I thought coloring the lines could go faster, and I wanted to make it kinda look like chalk, but then I couldn't help adding more blur & some chromatic aberration so now it has a weird-y vibe :'D
I used watercolor pencils for mine, but unfortunately, I was out of my large watercolor paper to print the line art onto. hopefully, you can still see my brave, yet cautious attempt at letting the watercolor come out while not completely soaking the paper. Also liked sneaking in a pink elephant on parade.
I've been using crayons or colored pencils for the other challenges, but having never done it, I wanted to try coloring on the computer. I need to learn about all the cool shading tools everyone is using, but it was fun to try the limited options I could figure out for this round!
Thank you so much Laudine for creating these! I had so much fun. Nintendo should hire you 10/10 to make an Animal Crossing coloring book! I would definitely buy. My brother was pretty impressed to see Farley represented too <3
