Characters

Well, currently there are 11 new ones and 12 old ones. I bet that there's only going to be one more character announced, a new one. Also, are these 23 characters the starters? Are they all thats in the game? Or what?

I think they'll just be the starters. They wouldn't just take out Luigi, Ganon and Jiggilypuff when they added Snake and Sonic, who don't "fit" into the game.

I have no idea how many characters are gonna be announced, but my guess would be 24-25, but that's simply guessing. And I agree that the next one will be a new one, and I'm going to be cheking the site tomorrow to see if that Krystal hypothesis proves to be true


And those 23 so far are definitely not all thats in the game, my guess would be the starters possibly excluding Snake and Sonic.

Didn't SSBM only have like 30 characters total? The first one only had 12 .

I think they could even announce more than one more due to the pushed back date. Actually if the Krystal thing is true then there is at least one more new character coming... Also they might not even have all the starting characters out yet, they don't have captain falcon out and he wasn't unlockable in melee... although he could be unlockable again...

It depends if they want to announce more characters. Well I think they want us to be surprised with all the new characters when the games comes out and play it to find out.

Yeah, that's about my guess too. I think it would be a good number, maybe announce 25, have 20-25 secret.
