In that game a third party becomes town by winning a vote. Not the same thing as is happening here but I thought it was a good analogy
At the start I was hoping to collaborate with Dan regardless of alignment, so I laid down a few quotes specifically referencing Ness in this game bc it was a good analogy that I wanted him to pick up that I was confident no one else would. I thought he was mafia at the time but was still open to collaboration.
During the night phase I was hoping to send signals back and forth that we were willing to collaborate on a future day, and the item did play a part in it. Unfortunately I can't talk about the item however the item did lead to us coming to an understanding of collaboration, which is why we both came into the thread townreading each other. He also understood that he could buy my loyalty with item votes
I am but a simple beggar seeking this fine village's items, he is the true villain here!
Sorry Dan but I gotta look out for number one and the way the votes are coming down, honestly I feel that we could have gotten one of kiko or frosty to vote the other but it just seems really unlikely but this is just the safest play for me.
@BetsySundrop I am attempting to expose the true villain here, might I pine thy for a vote for item and a vote off of myself.
As for why I stopped advocating for an item on myself like an hour ago, yeah that would've just been a super bad look
