I can't believe you didn't call me out day 2 for it at all. Even when you were musing that my power was weirdly weaker than yours. I wasn't sure if you were being truthful about your kiko plan 2, but I really didn't think medic. Can I sak why you didn't protect Tessa day 1?
 
anyway @FrostyAlmonds I strongly encourage you to play again, days are kinda like they were this game though they were a bit more active than usual for this size of game. Nights... are usually not like they were this past n2
 
Oh! But also, about Tessa. We literally chose her by process of elimination. We believed Dolby was protected from nk. Dan wanted to keep Betsy alive in case he was out since there was the Dan Betsy theory, and I had leads to start pushing the maf suspect onto you. So we landed on Tessa, I was between her and Betsy being cop, and was a lot more worried about Betsy because I thought she would inspect me. Originally my power was going to be miller to try and cover if she did (and didn't claim right away because I didn't know I should have).

that was my biggest mistake this game, thinking that keeping the fact I'm a doctor to myself would be more useful to the townies than more directly calling you out. Keeping that knowledge allowed for some fun strats, but they ultimately fell through.
I did repeatedly question you about your ability and say I was sus of you for it, but I also just didn't believe at the time that there ever would be 3 non townies in a 7 player game so was like "maybe she's hiding something for good's sake?"

all the reasons I gave in the thread
thought the maf thought she was an obvious kt so would take out the next biggest threat in dolby for having the item and an ability too.
we had no info d1 so it was a gamble

I will consider it, or be a sub at least. I really did have a lot of fun, I just felt really panicked about the time commitment and actually being maf. I didn't want to start sounding like I was throwing really big excuses, and I really appreciate that you all understand and believe me that it wasn't being mafia related.

whenever someone gives a personal reason I believe it dw (y) meant it when I said that it was all g when you came back at the end of n2

I'm sorry I wasn't. I really did take today as a break because I was so burnt out from yesterday. I couldn't believe you guys were still going on. I even told Dan in maf chat I pretty much gave up trying to keep up today because the theories were as big as yesterday. I did see the first bits of body guard theory though. No worries. I was really just banking on me messaging Bianca first.

In hindsight though, it makes so much sense because Dan flat out said you were willing to bail him out if he was up for elim. I didn't really get why but didn't even question it. As far as I was aware, you were a safety net.

I know I said I was off for the night but I had a thought

This isn't why I didn't out frosty d2 (truly just wanted to keep my role hidden from the maf)

but lol if I did then that would've ended the game then and there 😅 dan dolby and frosty could've just collectively been like "and what's it to ya?" and voted out one of me or betsy with confirmation now that they're all working together

I think the only real play and way for town to win after n1 would've been claiming bodyguard in kikotoot part 2, keeping frosty perceived as a townie so they don't yet realize they can vote together as was the case, using the bodyguard claim to fear them out of targeting betsy, protecting myself, and then me and betsy voting out frosty d3.

Oof that is a *tight* sequence of events that needed to happen. Genuinely didn't know mayor (or bodyguard) existed at the time so would never have thought to claim bodyguard till researching later on. (lol imagine I was better educated on mafia and we pulled off that recovery from effectively a d1/n1 game)

rip the mis-elim and mis-gamble n1 🥲 lol at my initial call to randomly distribute the item to be safe and to not vote anyone out :p

So why I wanted the items

1. pure greed

2. Actual game related reasons

More items to me means I can use them to end game faster, so that there's fewer days, and thus, fewer chances to vote me out. In addition I can use the items to my own benefit, make sure they aren't used in a manner to prolong the game. In addition, I was specifically alluding to having kill immunity on d1 (which I did have) because I didn't want kills on me even though kills on me wouldn't go through. Why? Because those kills prolong the game. Granted, a kill on me failing; and me outting that I'm a third party who can't die after it, could earn me gratitude, but taking into account how some of you treated my claim (granted, yes I was working against town) I think I was justified not going down that route
