the Christmas lights now proclaim the mystery of faith. what could be more interesting than that??
No because they're a glitch. They're supposed to be invisible and hidden, why reward everyone for a glitch in the system? Can always update your collectibles to remove the ? Mark.

They're a glitch? Huh? They're gifts from other people... I remember them changing into other collectibles like the mitten last year. I know I can hide them, but that's no fun

The lights didn't turn into anything else; that was only the gifts. The lights were a temporary collectible both this year and last year and were meant to disappear completely after the holiday season (rather than being force hidden), but some of them glitched and turned into question marks. Making any change to your inventory will cause them to be removed from both your sidebar and inventory as intended.

Glad I didn't get the lights then. If they would have just been removed from my sidebar and my inventory.
