so. your art is very cute for a beginner, but like every artist there is room for improvement. When i look at your art, first thing i notice is the shading, the shading is very flat and looks like a gradient, try shading with other colors with different hues and values, or use deeper colors to shade shadows, to make it stand out more. Everything looks too blended : o

Also you need to work on anatomy a bit more (same here o vo), the neck in the first image is a bit too big, but yeah its a great start you know!!

critique mode off.

Okay so I couldn't find the pics of my a new eye style.
But I did find these:

minichibguy.png

minichibgirl.png

I have to retake the pic of the guy since his hands aren't clear at all >_< But I'm going to line and color him, and he shall be my first tiny chibi experiment >: D

The arms seem rather long. I believe they should end around the mid thigh in a natural stance.

Thanks, I noticed that the hands are too long but I didn't know where they were supposed to end :3

Also update, another eye style coming.

Very cute faces! Your latest piece reminds me of my oc! To improve, maybe have the feet facing forward, and smaller arms to make it more proportionate? I'm not an expert, the last thing I drew was my avatar haha! But yeah, if you continue, your art will get even more fabulous!

Thank you so much, that was really nice of you :3

Hey pal! Just like what everyone else said, your anatomy is a bit wonky. You've improved a lot from your first drawings, but if you want to improve in a better way, try looking & imitating photos of people instead of just drawing what you think is right.

A good way to do that is to look at it critically, analyzing a photo not for the pose & general construction but the specifics, as in 'this line goes here' etc. It may seem silly at first but it will help you grasp how humans are realistically shaped.

Best of luck!

I guess that's kind of what I've been doing wrong then :p Back to my sketchbook

Yeah, the only criticism I get is from here since no one irl is honest when I ask them xP

Work a little on the neck, kind of looks like its as wide as her head.
Poses could be a little better and the torso is wayyy too long for the legs.
Easy resizing problems.
Keep a positive mindset!
