Well I've been thinking of buying one. but is it worth it to take the screen shots and stuff. I would probaly mainly use it for city folk pics. possibly some brawl pics. but is it worth it. can you like put the sd card in your comp and download the pics?

I use mine to save photos from my game and it works really well :) I got mine off of ebay for $6 delivered

well be careful what you buy. 1st off don't buy the expensive one with the wii namebrand on it unless you feel like wasting money. 2nd don't get higher than 2 gb one I don't think the wii will read anything higher. Lastly just get the sandisk 2gb sd card. I got it off ebay for $7 delivered final price.

Yes you can take pictures save them and as long as your computer has a compatible card reader then you can upload them to your computer easily. It is as simple as copy and paste.

now i remember around a year ago my friends camera memory worked on my wii same with my cousin. I'll look up the other brands prices.

You are right about not buying the Wii name brand ones, they are a waste of money.
You are wrong about how anything higher than 2 GB SD cards are incompatible. As of Menu 4.0, Wii now suports SDHC cards. I've seen some 32 GB SD cards out there if anyone was curious (though it was about 130 dollars >_< )

Anyway an SD card is a must buy. Besides taking screenshots, you can load channels from the SD card now. SD cards are also pretty cheap now too so you are really getting a lot out of the dollar you spend on the card.
